So I have this one "friend" to whom gets on my nerves which their comments in regards with "beauty" and body image and stuff.
She complains at how people expect them to have this perfectly formed body with no blemishes or problems and how people are not settling for less and in the next swoop, saying how they would never seek a relationship with someone unless they're tall, slim, perfectly carved body, etc.
Now, what I'm not complaining about is our natural desire to mate with something that'll likely produce children that'll live on or generally the idea of what is or isn't attractive, but more this idea that the world shouldn't expect anything from me but I should expect everything from the world.
I think I'm really mincing words at the moment so I'll cut short here:
Is it wrong to feel that people who pushes aside due to high expectations shouldn't hold high expectations on others?
