I have never seen any thing about it aside from the news page a few days ago about all of the lipsinc trailers (if that's what you can call them) of other things; all of which were pretty cool.
It gets a little less story-centric in the episodes after the pilot (1 and 2) and turns more into a slap-stick kind of thing with friendship flowing out the whazoo.Marter said:That, or there is brain control in one of the later episodes. I've seen the first one, and it wasn't good, (in my opinion, of course). This further makes me question if brain control is used later on.
Unless you're worried about this of course. In which case you should probably stay away, because it really can consume you... as I have found out...Neverhoodian said:I think I might be a prime candidate for "bronydom," and I'm afraid it might consume me.
Episode 10, actually. It features an evil enchantress. When people look into her eyes, they end up in trances. I could continue the song, but I'd just be wasting your time.Marter said:Considering how many "Bronies" (male fans who are clearly outside of the target audience) there are, it has to be doing something right.

Episode's one and two are pretty bad. One at least introduces the main cast, but two is just a standard, played from the hip kids show. It doesn't start to get good until episode three.Marter said:Considering how many "Bronies" (male fans who are clearly outside of the target audience) there are, it has to be doing something right.

It was developed as a 'family' show. So basically, many of the ideas and phrases used are something that older viewers would pick up (And understand), whereas younger viewers would remain oblivious. Basically, being older and more knowledgeable causes you to see the show differently from someone who is, say, 12.Savber said:I just started watching the show last night and I liked it.
This is coming from a guy that hates anything cheesy or childish from Twilight to Bieber. Simply put, I swear the show has some sort of demonic charm that possesses the viewer with unnatural love for the show.
It has all the elements that I hate about kid shows and yet I like it... It's INCONCEIVABLE. >.<
