I liked it the second I watched it, when I could give it the attention it requires. I think that people assumed it would be like Snatch or Lock Stock, in that you could almost watch it in the background and still follow it.

I watched it. I was left thoroughly confused.
It had a lot of good ideas strewn all around... but they felt like they were each from a separate movie. It was like a stream-of-consciousness of the director, put into film. And some parts made no apparent sense.
I don't think I *enjoyed* it. But it was interesting.

Revolver kind of stunk. Its just a....well, I'm loathe to say confusing because that makes it seem like I wasn't trying to pay attention, but that is exactly what it is. Its just a mess, lots of "scenes" but no real movie. I didn't really like it very much, and its certainly Guy Ritchie's worst film IMO.
Am glad to see there were some people to respond who liked it, just makes it feel a little less like simple film bashing then. I really liked elements as I say, such as the elevator scene - but the direction just seemed too distracting, and story surprisingly bland with suspect psychology.Blunderboy said:

out of curiosity what is it you two particularly liked about the film? I do plan on giving it a second watch to see if it grows on me at all.
