Yes. We are waiting with bated breath for the polycount pack. There are many levels and items that are valve official, and exponentially more that aren't. Well maps anyway. Best 20 dollars I've ever spent on a game.

Yes it's still really popular, I play it everytime CS:S pisses me off . And believe me, it pisses me in most of the cases off due to the high percentage off WALLHACKING BI*CHES (They are hacking, I mean, I'm really not bad, I played in the ESL for a time. Sometimes it's just so obvious they do).

Public css is disgusting, when a server has more than 10 players on it it's inevitable that you'll be wasda'd down by some laggy prick with a p90 or awped through 6 smokes by someone who just discovered ambient occlusion the other day. The ESL is the only decent league left for css too, and even it's not so great, half your games will be default hunted and aequitas is plainly being trounced by organner and co atm. Bring on their new A/C. Considering making the switch to TF2 myself atm.

On topic: yes tf2 is still popular enough that you won't struggle to get a server most times of the day. And it's damn fun, so go for it, it's more than worth the price!

I was thinking of buying the orange box (already own for Ps3 but...you know...shitty port and all.) at a local game store for $20, i already got portal (Free day when it was ported for mac.) But i want to know if a lot of people still play TF2 because i really need a new Fps as I've gotten bored of CSS.
