I like the Boondocks but so many people get outraged because of its language and controversial topics. What do you guys think?

I've watched one episode of it.

I didn't really enjoy it that much. I don't really care if it stays or gets cancelled.

Is that the show where Samuel L Jackson does the voice for some white guy, and in one of the episodes he does the "say what again" thing from Pulp Fiction?

Its very funny and has some very serious underlying themes I hope they have 2 more seasons after this one and a full length movie.

No It shouldn't be cancelled(in my own personal opinion).

When I saw it for the first time, I found myself actually amused by the humor and it does tackle some deeper themes in some of the episodes. People just get too over-sensitive about race they miss the entire point of the show.

It is the funniest show on television right now. Every single episode is absolutely hilarious and hits on a serious topic and doesn't care who it offends. Intelligent, hilarious, and incredibly real. Greatest animated program ever. I would post a video, but I doubt I could find one that won't get me in trouble.

It's fucking hilarious, like a comedy/satire cartoon should be.

People who take it seriously enough to be offended need to take out the stick shoved up their assholes.

It feels to me like the TV execs and fans got in the way of what made the Boondocks good to begin with. I think, Boondocks should be topical stories driven by Huey. The trouble is that people talked so much about Riley and Uncle Ruckus (no relation) that they started getting more and more screen time along with Grandad, and Huey got pushed to the side. So now, instead of intelligent commentary about serious topics, we get slapstick comedy and over the top vulgarity.

The show doesn't need to be cancelled because it's controversial or obscene. Anyone who thinks that should just change the channel and shut the hell up. The show needs to be cancelled because it's just flat out not that good any more. If they can bring back the chemistry (and Huey) they had in "A Huey Freeman Christmas" or "The Trial of R. Kelly," then let the show go as long as it can. But, if it's going to keep playing to the lowest common denominator with stuff like too much Stinkmeaner, Ruckus, Riley and Grandad, then get it off, because it's just not worth the time.

Personally, it's a very good show and season one was the best IMO.

Actually, the only reason it's controversial is because it shows some awful truths to being black...that most people try to avoid.

If you like the show, you should go and read the comic strips.

Definitely keep it. It's my favourite show because of the messages hidden within the show. But for the life of me I cannot figure out what the point of the recent Kick-Ball based was. So that one was just good in a retarded way.

That least episode about the hoodrat kid was easily one of the greatest ever in the series. "I like doin' bad things, I like hurtin' people".

I love the show, it's funny, and occasionally has a lot of clever and funny political and social insight. Although, besides the Obama episode, I haven't seen that much of the "deeper" side, I kind of miss it.

Although this seasons felt lacking so far, I don't know why. Maybe it's just me. It doesn't seem to have as much of the funny underlying political and social themes that I liked about it. And Uncle Ruckus's racism isn't making me laugh like it used to.

It was a parody the 2008 Olympics and Americans v. Chinese around a game of fun.

I watch the show when I catch it, it funny as hell, and I love how it makes fun of all the sterotypes. Its great because it does things that are offensive.
