It's odd. I feel that much of the animosity directed towards cellphone games is being drummed up by the major gamin companies, by that I mean sony and nintendo, who are only angry at the fact that people are spending four or five dollars on cellphone games and not 120 or 200 dollars buying their systems and their games.

On the other hand, aside from the very few simple games that you can get for a dollar, like tetris, I can't really see myself spending money to play games I could play on my computer for free.

Frankly the whole gaming phone thing I felt was sought about the wrong way. People were trying to take a phone and make it play games. I feel that is just something that is beyond the realm of what phones are capable of. Instead why not try to make a hand-held gaming system that could make calls?

The N-Gage proved that cell phones as gaming devices will never work.
In what way? The N-gage was so poorly designed that it was amazing it did as well as it did, from really stupid things like having to take the battery out to change games to having to hold the phone sideways. Pointing to the N-gage is like saying games on cd-rom will never work then point to the jaguar cd

It will stay as it always been.
Simple teteris games you play when you have nothing to do and you are not in home.
Iphone has some gool games/apps tho like Tap Tap Revenge whats like Guitar Hero and DDR mixed together.

vary many of you says that "cellphones aren't supposed to play games" but thats the way the technology stretches: to put everything together in one so you dont have to carry a lot of diffrent things like cellphone for calling, NDS for gaming, watch for watching, mp3 for music, wallet, keys, etc etc the goal is kinda to have everything together in one device.
