Alot of these things sound really familiar, you don't happen to live in the greater toronto area do you?

In the 10th grade, My World History Teacher weighed over 400lbs, never left her classroom and was easily the most hated teacher at the High School, she was verbally abusive to all her students and team (she was a softball coach) and was luckily fired the same year we hired her! (There's more to it, but I can't remember)
Oh Yeah,
My Same year English teacher used to be a sub for weight lifting and you could tell the man used steroids (he talked like a little girl), we literally did nothing in his class because either he was crying (like I said steroids), was hitting on the High School girls (FYI he was and still is dating the principal),or reading out loud some very disgusting poetry. So me and everyone else who wasn't a sycophant just played ping pong (2 desks 2 books [lolz "The Good Earth" a paddlle of choice]and a confinscated Ping Pong Ball). The Man still teaches no matter how many Sexual Harassment suit follow him (He's Dating the principal).
The name of the monster: Mr.Haubrich

Lol, I got about 6-7 nice looking teachers at my school..All under 35(One-2 I think are 30+ but the others I bet are 25-28.) But yeah, Teenage boys can be just as bad.

My school banned talent shows because some kid smacked a teacher on the ass..o_O

There's a bunch of teachers around my school which are hated. I can't figure out why. Maybe it's because some of them call you out when you misbehave, I don't know. I'm free of hatred towards anyone at my school.

Everyone in my art class hates my art teacher. Again, I have no idea why.

It's inappropriate for a teacher to be involved with a student :p That said, one of my English teachers back when I was 13-14 was sleeping with one of the 18 year old students. Oh that sly devil. Well, until the school found out and he got replaced. :( Sucked cos I actually liked him.

As for my hated teacher: This was during my last year of school, I was 17 at the time. Walrus of a man with one of the worst handlebar mustaches you have ever seen. I was working on my Uni application during 'assembly time' (School gets together 3 times a week to listen to Christians talk about God, I decided it wasn't the best use of 30 minutes every morning), and he storms into the room demanding to know why I was there. I explained, as calmly as I could considering that the teacher was visibly trying to intimidate me.

After he saw that I wasn't backing down from my viewpoint and belief that I was in the right, he stormed out to fetch the head of sixth form. Ten minutes later the head of sixth form (nice woman, though when she was angry she actually made you feel bad for disappointing her) comes in with Walrus in tow. I still don't back down, apologising for what was apparently being rude, but stating that "If the school wishes me to act like an adult and be treated as such, I'd appreciate not being subject to intimidation tactics more reserved for twelve year olds." Walrus looked ready to blow his top and actually hit me, but the Head blocked his path, he mentioned in the first encounter he would look into getting me suspended for being rude to a teacher.

So the Head tells me to meet her in her office at lunchtime. I wander along, she apologises for Walrus' behaviour and tells me that, though she doesn't think I deserve it, she needs to punish me anyway to satisfy the fat slab of wasted flesh and breath. Ended up with a lunchtime detention.

Oh, and if Walrus is reading, FUCK YOU MR. REYNOLDS.

Oh, God...My first freshman year Spanish teacher had it out for me. I would get sent out of the room for putting my head on the desk without being warned, I would be called out for forgetting my book, ignoring the students surrounding me who were also bookless...but the coup de grace came when I went to my guidance counselor to be transferred out. When I got there, I found out that she had requested me transferred out two days earlier, saying I was a discipline problem and pretty much saying that she couldn't do anything with me, so she was going to give another teacher a chance.

My most hated would have to be last years English Teacher

*****.... Thats all I can say... *****.

She only favoured the ones who got high marks naturally, giving them the most help and refusing to help the rest of us

I would go on but I will explode... Good thing she got fired

My Spanish teacher this year has been getting on my nerves. She just throws work at us and expects us to know what to do. She corrects the stuff with us, but she never really teaches us why things are a certain way. I feel like I'm teaching myself. And that's a bad thing in a foreign language class, you need more than the textbook to get a grasp of it.

And my Art teacher in 8th grade was a horrible bastard. He refused to give anyone an A as that meant you had no room to improve. He took the class so seriously like we were all going to major in the subject. It's Art, 90% of the people in that are in Art class are forced in (before high school) or doing it for college (in high school). Just give us the A like my Freshman Art teacher did. For our Final we had like a 15 minute test and spent the rest of the time eating food she brought in and talking.

Your Art teacher sounds nice...The Freshman one at least. Some teachers think there is always room to improve though

I shouldn't get straight Cs in an Art class though. He just took it way too far.

PS: Sponges

Suprisingly i'm taking German 1 this year and I think I got the best teacher out of all of them. She goes over things all class..And at most we get a page or two of homework. Even last year when I was taking pretty much German .5 I didn't get barely any homework/Classwork.

Just goes to show that some teachers are better then others..It seems spanish teachers are really lazy though. ^.^

I wouldn't disagree. It seems to range from passable to basically teaching nothing.

I wish Rosetta Stone wsn't so expensive. I'd just get that and breeze through Spanish classes.

The Art curriculum is a bit ridiculous over here in England, too - not that I'm bragging, I'm not that artistic, but I managed to scrape a B, and I didn't even turn up for the exam. The complete inverse of what you had, but still a bit pointless.

PS: Sponges

No, they shitting suck. (Everyone please disagree with Shivari.)

Right, now that we've all agreed that Shivari is wrong. About everything. Except the Art thing, although still a little wrong in that aspect. Right, teachers;

I can pretty easily directly blame the whole illness thing I'm always looking for sympathy over on the Grammar school I went to, and I hated all but one, maybe two of the teachers - they were so far up their own arse that they have trouble reading the textbook their lesson plan is copied from.

I used to think people were being melodramatic when they said their *insert subject here* Teacher screwed up their school life, and now I can see that they were being, but I am as well, and therefore they are right.

I had the WORST English teacher in 9th grade.

He never showed up to class and had substitutes every other day. In fact, the man out the whole time in November. My friends and I actually counted the number of days he would actually show up to class and the final record was about 10 days. We formed stronger bonds with the substitutes than the actual teacher. I figured he was mentally unstable or had an extremely terrible memory, because the majority of the class, being typical freshmen, decided to take advantage of this and whenever we watched any movie, we would watch at least twice (Troy, three times.)

I know, it sounds fun, slacking off in class with your mates but Jesus, I can only handle so much of Brad Pitt yelling "HECTOR!"

To top it off, his room smelled like piss.

Edit: I blame all my grammatical errors in this post on the inefficiency of my English 1 class.
