Soap MacTavish has a Scottish accent in MW2. I'd bet that he did in CoD 4, as well.
He was mute. Just like Jackson.
Edit: And Cpt. Price when he was in chernobyl.

I presume that you can't hear anything that you say when you inhabit a main character. Price was mute around Chernobyl but we know he can talk and the same applies to Soap.

I don't know if this counts but the Brother Captain from the first Dawn of War has a weird pseudo-British accent.
SPESS MEHRENS!?

This is a totally realistic presentation of the abomination that was Soulstorm, among other things in this video...that were awesome. Though the dialogue was sometimes hilarious....

I have met my enemy...it is the BOXES!

Yes, all of them, as long as the main character has a voice :p
Everybody has an accent, even if he cannot hear it.

This is the worst topic/question I have ever seen...
Everyone ever has an accent. It's relative. It's like me saying "in every game I've played, everyone has an accent." Because there are no Mancunian (my accent) characters. RELATIVITY, FOOL!

Niko Bellic, Mario and Laura Croft are 3 characters that come immediately to mind.
Serbian, for that matter. Pardon me for being anal.

Edit: Note to self, read before posting. My post was redundant, AND I quoted the wrong post.

The upcoming Assassin's Creed 2?

They actually got his accent down this time, thus screwing over the weak excuse of the last game.
Every character has an accent. Usually an "typical" American accent, some have an stereotype English accent, but there are too many accents between states and countries to be able to say that there "isn't" an accent. Northern english people have a different accent to southern english people, the same as every other country, there are different accents.

This thread is stupid.

The only characters I know who DON'T have an accent are almost everyone from The Legend of Zelda, because they never talks.

CoD 4. Lots of lovely English accents.
Yay you got it right! You don't get a 'British' accent, it is either (very broadly speaking) an English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish accent. There are more accents in Britain than there are states in america.

EDIT: Lol Niko Bellic hasn't got an Italian accent seeing as he is a Serbian/Croatian.
