Soul Calibur 3. The only game that I have never been beaten at when playing seriously. I would enter a tourney for that game in a heartbeat and probably have extremely good chances of winning. Who knows though?

Wow, I have never heard of that game before but now I really want it.

OT I'd say Quake 3 as my game. I really like fast paced shooters.

Nexuiz is Quake III with current gen visuals. Released under the GPL, it is available for free download at multiple locations.

Word of warning: Currently Nexuiz is no longer being developed by Alientrap who have now become Alientrap Software and are about to release Nexuiz as a mulitplatform FPS using Critek's CryENGINE 3. When this was announced in October 2009 there was much uproar over the cessation of development of the open source Nexuiz (Now Classic Nexuiz). Thus in March 2010 the project was forked into creating Xonotic (pronounced "Zon-otic" which continues the open source spirit of Nexuiz and is worked on by most of the original dev team.

Xonotic has only just been released as in a "preview" version but it would seem that many Nexuiz players have already made the switch with Nexuiz servers increasingly empty.

For now, I would recommend downloading Nexuiz 2.5.2 and (the last released version) and Xonotic, using Nexuiz to learn the mechanics of the game playing against bots.

Team Fortress Classic is the only game I've ever played to a level on par with pros. I played soldier, mostly on defense. Played on the best clan servers and still consistently emerged one of the top players. I once got called 'a one-man-defense' But that was years ago, so I most probably can't reach that level anymore. Makes me wonder I anymore from my days still plays, maybe in some other game. And now I feel old.

Oh, and Alien vs Predator, the pc game from 2000. But only as Alien. I still remember how ridiculously fast-paced and disorienting an Alien vs Alien fight was.

I'd like to face some gamers in Tekken again, I mastered the 3rd, 4th and 5th one and have yet to try out the 6th, I'm assuming nothing much has changed though.

For example, I'll choose my play, and in the 5 seconds before I start the play (get the ball), when the two lines are staring at each other, he will tell me exactly what play I picked, where my guys are running, and what guy I will throw it to.
I don't play many sports games, so I play (really badly) in a random style, so I can sometimes psych him out, but he's usually too good =|

I don't really have anything like that, mainly because I play, for the majority, single player games, but I know a guy who came fourth in the province in a Street Fighter tournament a while ago. In fact, a few weeks ago, he came back from our Northernmost provinces from another SF tournament. I don't know how well he did though.

Hear, hear brother, whenever i play online theres generally only 1 other person trying to be stealthy, and because of that, i usually get in to the top 3, the only annoying part of the game is that the spuare button has an unfairly large radius when im being chased e.g im running the other guys about 2 meters behind me and he presses the square button, my character just stops and the other guy pretty much flys over and stabs me >.< I funking hate that!!

same, stun doesn't seem to work either so i just say screw it activate speed boost and zoing im in a hay stack 5 miles away from my pursuer

See, now when everyone uses stealth and shizz, I', topping the leaderboards, but when everyone else runs around on rooftops and I'm using stealth and shizz, I'm at the bottom.

Very frustrating.

OT: Eh, not really. If I play a multiplayer game for long enough, I will be recognisably good, but to go on TV for a fuck-tonne of money? Not that good.
