everyone i really like . Friends, the family members i like, the kids i worked with in the youth-center (the ones i like again, the rest i dont care about anymore). My GF of course, but in most cases all of the mentioned above are strong enough in personality that more than empathy is seldom necessary

I am highly protective of my younger sister.
I despise her and what she does and how she treats me but I do whatever i can to keep her from lethal or debilitating harm.

I feel like I should protect m little (but still six years older) sister. If you've ever watched District B13 (that French action movie) you know how I feel.

What about you? A sibling? A family friend? Your offspring?
My cousin. She and I were born days apart so we've grown up with each other. Truth is I think of her more of a sister than a cousin. She's recently got engaged so your damn sure that I checked the guy out.

My....uh....cats.

Yeah that's all I got.

Goddamn, this is a depressing night.
I'd be protective of my girlfriend's cat if I lived with her. And I suppose I'm slightly protective of my brother's cat, even if she is an evil hag.

OT - As it stands, my mom. She is entirely capable of defending and speaking up for herself, so I'd be more in the way if anything. Still, it's the thought that counts, right?

Anything that is important to me, if someone screws with me there will be repercussions.

But I care about the future of my species as a whole.

My younger cousins. I've already broken a guys face when he said that he was going to "fucking destroy that". Seeing as my cousin was fifteen and scared out of her mind by him, I thought it appropriate.

I'm very protective of my seven year old sister, especially when we're out, where I'll make sure she's close to me at all times (or that I can atleast easily see her if we're at a safe-ish location).

On an unrelated note can anyone guess why I use a Big Daddy as my avatar? ;-)

Well, personally, I'm protective of all my close friends and an ex girlfriend. I would gladly break the nose of anyone trying to mess with them.

It's surprised many a chav when that "little emo kid" they keep yelling at turns around and knocks them out.

(Note: I may have slight anger issues recently, must get that checked out)

Not in the sence that I constantly feel the need to protect my friends or family. I think that mindset would imply that I think of someone as being weak or incapable of holding their own. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't lend a helping hand if they need one.

Close friends, family and of course, the special someone I love.

Wait, why are you asking of this? You better not be plotting anything OP!
