Is there anything you wish was more successful?

Mine is the Sega Dreamcast. I just bought one and it still works great. The library of games is great and I wish it didn't cease production because Sega finally got a system right but it's past mistakes finally caught up to it.

Bethesda...

They made such a brilliant job with the immersion in FO:3, it's too bad it fell absolutely flat in FO:NV. :/

Edit: Since this seems like some srs business, alright, apparently ONLY Obsidian made FO:NV, sorry for assuming that a game that reused practically all the textures and shit from another game was made by the same people who made the first game. Apologies if this(for some odd reason) really offended someone. I still think it sucks that FO:NV didn't have the same immersive power on me that FO3 had. K, is everyone happy now? No more heartbreaks?

Haegemonia: Legions of Iron, there is nothing really wrong with it, but the damned thing needs a sequel (an expansion that adds no story doesn't count!)

Advent Rising: The console version had quite a few bugs and glitches, and it didn't help that the studio went under. The PC version worked fine for me and boy was it an awesome game, even with the few problems I had with it. I want to a damn sequel or the entire trilogy or whatever dammit!! The game was awesome, and had a lot of potential; didn't help that it ended on a cliff hanger.

Scott Pilgrim. The movie did well in certain circles, sure, but I wish that everyone at least had an interest in seeing it. :T

Dwarf Fortress. It's such a god damn awesome game and I really wish more people would try it out. Half the fun of the game is going on the forums and reading about all the crazy shit people have done with the game. There's nothing like it in the modern gamin world. The closest thing to it is Minecraft, but even then they are barely alike. They are really only similar in their sandbox nature, but Dwarf Fortress towers over Minecraft in that regard. The main reason I started my LP [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.245167-Lets-Play-Dwarf-Fortress-Little-Slice-of-Hell] on this site was to introduce more people to Dwarf Fortress.

Also, I wish the Pikmin games had done better. I don't think they did bad, but had they been even more successful maybe Nintendo would be motivated to give me another one already.

I simply wish that "Urban Reign" on the PS2 had done better in sales. I'd give anything for a sequel to that game. It was one of the best fighting games I've had in my collection. Of course, it's not like a lot of people would agree with me, but the game was given an extremely long replay time because of the fact that it took a simple idea and perfected it, rather than trying to do too many things at one time. That would be, simple three button combat, and one extra button for options of mobility.

I still play it often.

Black Ops, damn that game is under appreciated.

But seriously, Black, then maybe we could have a sequel. But alas.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Maybe Troika would have been able to release a sequel had it been :(

Have you read the DF Let's Play Boatmurdered, per chance? Definitely give it a look of you haven't, you'll never look at Elephants the same way.

My answer would be Card Games, at least among people my age. I've really gotten into Magic lately and it is quite annoying finding people to play with.

Yep, it's what motivated me to play Dwarf Fortress in the first place.

Beyond Good and Evil. Maybe we'd have that sequel by now if people actually bought the first one :(

Ah Black was fucking awesome! WHatever you do though, don't go back and play it now. After playing all these modern shooters it just doesn't hold up anymore :( almost unplayable due to shocking controls

LOL nope, unfortunately not. My only real issue was that max movement sensitivity would make a snail look like Usain Bolt!
