I found a trailer on youtube which looks...meh
Im not sure if it's a joke or not because imdb.com has a Zelda for 2009 in production but I need to be ImdbPro to look at its information

Is it the IGN trailer? If so, it was an April fools joke, that a lot of thought went into. There's even a behind the scenes mini-documentary for it. No, a Zelda Movie is not in the works, unless the April Fools Joke is that we all think it's fake. That would be kinda cool. Maybe.

That trailer looked as B-movie as Super Mario Bros. or Street Fighter and those were horrid.
I am glad it is fake. I would be upset if it was real and looked that bad.

I sincerly hope so. I think i could be a writer. Get this. Princess zelda gets kidnapped. And whos gonna save her. None other the a little boy/elf thing named Link. I think they will skip the oscar for best story or script all together and just give me the nobel peace for that original jem.

And Street fighter was a great movie. It lead to the gaming monstrosity/Classic that i will always remeber as the one of the worst desicions ever made. Steet Fighter: The Movie: The Game. With what looked like cardboard cutouts of jean-cluade van damne punching and kicking quality right out the window

'cept for Doom, all video game ported movies suck.

Even if it were to be Zelda or Mario, they usually result in groans of disappointment and the company making it being labeled a fool.

Zelda would only work as a 4 hour epic. Noone ever wants to make a movie like that any more. All we have to remember that age by is Dances with Wolves.

Your right, the LOTR trilogy is only 11.3 hours long... no one makes four hour epics anymore. We make 3 of them at once now.

Back on Topic, no Zelda movie, thank god. I can't see how it could possibly work; there are some things that only work in video games. Although I bet our old pal Uwe Boll would be more than happy to give it a shot if we let him live that long.

I would love to see Uwe Boll direct a zelda movie, if only to see all the zelda fanboys completely flip.

The only way Zelda would work on Film is as a Mini-series. Then you could have as many 2 hour long sections as needed. Like 30 of them. Even then, it would probably be mediocre (though, if the "Sword of Truth" mini-series works out, I might have to change my mind).

Even if it were made into a movie, it would not be physically possible for me to take anyone wearing that hat seriously. It works in the game. Wouldn't in a movie.

If you get the extended cuts of LotR it's more like 14 hours long. They could do Ocarina of Time as a trilogy but you know that it will bomb anyway, all game to movie crossovers do. I'd like to see a Zelda film made eventually though. That and Bioshock (not combined obviously).

Thank you, I was shittin it... It was horrible!
I would like to add video games into film always suck!
I have even refused to watch Hitman because I konw it doesn't stay true to the game.
Why is it always Uwe Fucking Boll, The Sultan of Shlock Paul WS Anderson and other weird ass named directors who make these films anyway? They're no good!

AAAAGH! No! Get it away, get it away! That's undoubtedly the worst film I've ever seen. Worse than Street Fighter, Super Mario Brothers and Hitman combined.
