take up walking in the countryside as a hobby.

if you poke about there will probably be groups of some sort.
EEH! i did that and got shot during a kidnap. I defy everyone to tell me thats internalizing lol.

Also the stigma is real, but the world is big, so you can always find someone who wants to get close to you, you´d be surprised.
In my case. Well i will probably disappoint that person just like many others before.

Not a very helpful advise, but I always think the classic:
"It could had been worst".
I know, but it is true. There are worst things to handle in the world that you didn't face...yet.
Also a hobby could be good.
My hobby is to collect everything I did and catalogue them in different files.
Strange, but this is my Jam ^^

I'm the quiet type, always have been and always will. When I walked around I kept my head down and didn't make broad motions with my arms, I'd keep my hands in my pockets. I didn't want to be noticed. One day a friend(wow, thinking about that made me realize I haven't had anyone around me I would call a friend in years) told me I needed to be more confident, so I went about doing just that.
I went to the gym, worked towards(and still working towards) having a healthy body I could be proud of. I stopped looking down when I walked(I still look forward and down when I get lost in thought though)...and now I'm told that I'm intimidating.

Intimidating. I went from looking timid to being intimidating. At that point I sort of gave up on trying to look approachable. If someone asks me something I'll talk in an upbeat manner so they don't think "this guy is one of those quiet wierdos", but I won't go out of my way to carry a conversation.

It probably doesn't help that I shave my head and keep my eyes constantly roaming around the room, being observant of anything that happens, hahaha.

In short I'm 5 Foot, 7 Inches, shaved head, intimidating body language, and I listen to Judas Priest at moderately loud volumes while driving my Wrangler.
After all that if someone approaches me wanting to be my friend I'll give them the time of day.

That's my approach, and it is definitely one that doesn't work for everyone.
For those who read through that whole rambling post, thank you and I'm sorry my writing skills are sub-par.
