I bet most of these other peoples "opinions" on the games was them just parroting the words of a reviewer from a magazine or tv show. they didn't go out and try the game themselves they let someone else who might have a different opinion on what constitutes as a good game decide for them.

It's good that you risked trying something out for yourself and finding it enjoyable.

Haven't played it. Heard it does have some very novel ideas though, despite its bad rep. Anyway, since I haven't played it, I cannot venture a justified opinion on it, except one based on hearsay and prejudice, and that's never a good thing, is it, press industry?
