I for one think there isn't enough. WHO IS WITH ME?
Here here! So long at it is tastefully done of course and not awkwardly forced in.

Can there really be a thing as too much sex?
Well I figure if your dick falls off then yeah...

OT:I think that sex should only be in game if it is done properly, and not there "Just 'Cause"

I don't know about you, but I like to play video games while having sex. Nothing like trying to multitask and end up doing both poorly.
speak for yourself there man. Both me and my girlfriend like video games and we were on the couch one night...
anyway, my character died about five mins in but i wasn't really focusing on the game at that point...
...isn't that the same thing as what I just said? never under estimate the power of distraction on your gaming prowess.

now, if you can say, play Starcraft or something proficiently while having sex, THEN I will give you mad kudos.
Well i was trying to say that i don't do BOTH poorly, just the game. but yeah if someone can play starcraft well while having sex then hat's off to that guy!

Umm.. if you exclude H-games, then no - there isn't too much sex in games. As Omikron009 already said, "I don't really see that much sex in the games I play, so no."

Unless you include eroge, then no.
I can only think of some bioware games that have it.

No. The insane churchy-religious-psychotics that get their message on the media all the time might disagree, but the act of sex really isn't in a lot of games. I don't think games NEED that kind of thing to be good. But I'm not against including more of it in games. Sexual ideas (like big bosomed bikini babes bouncing around on a beach instead of kicking each other in the head like normal) are in games and seem to get attention, but that's really nothing. It might come off as degrading to certain people who dig too much into it and can't have fun, but whatever, right?

...okay, I know y'all haven't suddenly started playing games in a certain genre I frequent.

A question of "is there too much sex in video games" rings with impressive irony from a crowd that's probably never even heard of "<url=http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/3715/561488-comeseeme_large.jpg>Come See Me Tonight" or "<url=http://www.pwned.com/gamecovers/pc/1254660970-Cosplay_Fetish_Academy.jpg>Cosplay Fetish Academy."

And answers of "No, we need more!" make me wonder if people have even heard of games like "<url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.135672-Neutral-Drow-reviews-A-Drug-That-Makes-You-Dream>A Drug That Makes You Dream" or "<url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.206764-Neutral-Drow-reviews-Kana-Little-Sister>Kana: Little Sister."

Well speaking as a single guy, i'd be hard pressed to say that a game has too much sex in it (With the exception of Playboy: The Mansion). However, speaking as a player of B-game visual novels, in some cases there is too much, but then again that's the sole reason people play those games so you have to be willing to take that into account
My problem mainly comes when people interpret A-list visual novels to be no better because they share that one characteristic with the B-list.

Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to at least try the shallower games, but still.
Well if you're talking about comparing bishoujo games, when we take a look at a game like <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVOoE9GJrog>Crescendo which has a great story, great music, and not much h-content but because of the story, it doesn't really need it, and we compare it to a game like <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5llEo4hEiC4>Virgin Roster where the story is abysmal and overloaded with h-content, unfortunately people are always going to make an assumption that all B-games are full of porn.
But if you're comparing Crescendo to a standard visual novel like Ever 17, that's just an uninformed person
Crescendo is already on my playlist (and has been for a while; I've just had several more in front of it). And yeah, the day I play Virgin Roster is the day I vomit up the blackened, blood-encrusted remains of my soul onto a keyboard and call it a user review.

It's been part of my goal to show people the difference, oddly enough. Thankfully, that mostly entails playing the good ones.

Theres probably more innuendo then sex in video games, i havent seen a sex scene in a long time in a game. movies have more sex than games, check any pg-13 or R rated movie and they will have at least 1 sex scene.

Yes.
It's difficult to play games nowadays without having to worry that round the next metaphorical corner of the story, someone's going to "get it on".
Sure it adds to relationships and all that crap, but I don't like having to go through those scenes when mother's in the same room.

I miss the days when my choices were Crash Bandicoot, Spyro or Kula World. A more innocent time...

Depends on the individual game really. "Mario Cart" sure doesn't need anything remotely erotic tacked on, and showing explicit sex wouldn't really add anything to games like Uncharted or Fallout 3.

On the other hand, having brief interludes in God of War where Kratos gets to demonstrate his hypermasculinity in a way not incompatible with those of the ancient greek myths was a neat idea, and for straigt-up hentai games there really wouldn't be any point in not featuring gratious amounts of explicit sex.

If there's a use for a romance subplot, then featuring sex as well (implied or explicit) seems pretty natural, as that's generally a normal part of a romantic relationship. The problem, like all other media, is when it's smacked on for marketing etc. in places where it really doesn't belong.

I don't think there's really that much sex in video games at all. Like Grimsprice said, there's a lot more of it in movies, and it's referred to a lot in music.

I don't see any real reason why it shouldn't be included in games; as long as it fits into the story in some way. Obviously you have the extremes of GTA which don't really add to storyline (although I suppose some might argue that? :p), but in games like Heavy Rain it adds something.
