Is this actually a good idea?

Dunno if this is the right section for this but, seeing as its game related, i felt it appropriate to post it here

Basically, i've seen alot of stuff to do with Dissidia as well as having played alot of fighting games (Tekken, Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat) recently. Add to this the fact im an avid anime fan, and i think you can begin to see the direction im going with this idea.

The overall setting would be like Dissidia, in that groups of villains and hero's from various anime universes have been thrown together into one place. And, doing what they do best, are forced into conflict with one another.

On the villains side:
Sosuke Aizen (Bleach)
Orochimaru (Naruto)
Shishio Makoto (Ruroni Kenshin)
Lucy (Elfen Lied)
Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z)
Knives (Trigun)
Alucard (Hellsing)

Unlockable villains:
Envy (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Wei (Darker then Black)

On the Hero's side:
Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach)
Kakashi Hatake (Naruto...yeah i kinda hate the main character, sorry)
Himura Kenshin (Ruroni Kenshin)
Nana (Elfen Lied)
Goku (Dragon Ball Z)
Vash (Trigun)
Anderson (Hellsing)

Unlockable Hero's:
Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Hei (Darker then black)

Granted, im aware that such a game like this may never be made due to both the sheer cost of the licences and the voice actors etc.

But, lets for a moment forget about such problems. Do you this is an actual good idea? If so, please state what you like about the idea. And if not, please state why not (And do know that "I hate anime/manga" is not a legitimate answer)

1) I don't really think that Vegeta is exactly a villain.
2) Both of these would be infinitely overpowered.

I fully agree. Maybe put slightly weaker members from the universe.

Villain:

Frieza (and as in the Anime he gets stronger throughout till his 100% Final Form) or Cell (same thing)

Hero:

Someone like Adult Gohan or maybe one of the kids like Kid Trunks or Goten. Another good hero could be Piccolo as well.

I'd probably play it, and the characters gathered are good, but the idea itself (fighting game crossover,) isn't exactly original. Doesn't make it a bad idea, just not an original idea.

Im going to have to agree, they are super powered aliens! I do liek the idea, be great fun. Its just the fighters must have an equal chance to win.
I would love to see a big fighters game mash up - tekken vs street fighter vs soul caliber vs dead or alive etc.

Yeah, but the only reason Alucard isn't a villain is because he's against Nazi Vampires that eat babies. Seriously, any other story in the world, and he'd be the designated ultimate evil. Still a badass.

Also, OT, Alucard vs. Anderson in a fighting game is the single greatest idea I've ever heard. The rest is good, but that is pure unfiltered awesome.

So far the only people I can think of is Hei(hero) and Wei(villan) from Darker than Black.

But I am sure you could add more people.
