Ok, about the whole Goku and Vegeta being Present thing: First of all, Vegeta was originally a villain, so it does to some degree fit that he aligns with the Antagonists. Secondly, yes i am very much aware of the rather powerful nature of those characters. But, also keep in mind, the other characters are far from push-overs either. I won't go into to much detail, so as to avoid a fan war about who's better.

Thirdly...no-ones gonna remark on the fact i threw Lucy from Elfen Lied in there? <P

Ok, sorry..i won't bump it again. Well, i have heard of Mugen yes but..i can never seem to find where to download the client. Plus, i heard its a bit difficult to make characters for it..but i don't really know about that second part.

You should look up a game called MUGEN.
It's a fighting game where you have a custom character roster but

Dunno if this is the right section for this but, seeing as its game related, i felt it appropriate to post it here

Basically, i've seen alot of stuff to do with Dissidia as well as having played alot of fighting games (Tekken, Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat) recently. Add to this the fact im an avid anime fan, and i think you can begin to see the direction im going with this idea.

The overall setting would be like Dissidia, in that groups of villains and hero's from various anime universes have been thrown together into one place. And, doing what they do best, are forced into conflict with one another.

On the villains side:
Sosuke Aizen (Bleach)
Orochimaru (Naruto)
Shishio Makoto (Ruroni Kenshin)
Lucy (Elfen Lied)
Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z)
Knives (Trigun)
Alucard (Hellsing)

Unlockable villains:
Envy (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Wei (Darker then Black)

On the Hero's side:
Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach)
Kakashi Hatake (Naruto...yeah i kinda hate the main character, sorry)

Granted, im aware that such a game like this may never be made due to both the sheer cost of the licences and the voice actors etc.

But, lets for a moment forget about such problems. Do you this is an actual good idea? If so, please state what you like about the idea. And if not, please state why not (And do know that "I hate anime/manga" is not a legitimate answer)

I like the idea and also think that you might be interested in a game called Cross Edge for the PS3. It has a few similar ideas to this, except it's incredibly hard and is a side scrolling hack and slash rpg.

Nana's really the obvious choice, because i really don't see either bando or Mariko as being good guys..

I would like you to name any character in the Elfen Lied universe who is actually a good aligned person (Lucys with villains because she is technically on the edge a bit) who can actually fight at all. Nana's really the obvious choice, because i really don't see either bando or Mariko as being good guys..

Rather my point, actually. Lucy's only on the edge because of her murderous tendencies towards people looking to do her or her friends (if they can as such be called). If anything, the one who could be called good aligned would be Nyu--not exactly a competent fighter there.
