Is this how we should handle Dick Pics?

...wives, girlfriends, sisters, aunts, mothers the pictures with a message that they deserve better than this.

Wives and girlfriends, ok, because they're being informed that the guy they're seeing or married to is cheating on them (or at least trying to).

But family members? They didn't do anything, why the hell is she dragging them into this?

Exactly my thoughts. This kind of "revenge" is a fitting and almost poetic payback.

That being said, I really would like to see the reaction if a man sent unsolicited boob pics to partners and family of a random woman that sent them to him.

Oh, cmon. If you've been on the internet for any amount of time, you've seen a lot of penises somehow or another. I don't see how it's suppose to be threatening, it's annoying at worst. It's like a bird shitting on your car, yes it's irritating and gross, but is it really any more than a annoyance? I mean you could send them to friends and stuff, but that just seems like SO much effort, and it also seems like one of those things where it gets attention and then makes some people think it like a fun challenge or something, at which point, you're gonna get a lot more dick pics.

No, no, no. No. Not filming themselves naked is not the thing they have to stop doing in order to stop being humiliated. They can film themselves naked all they want. What they have to stop doing is stop sending those pictures to a woman who didn't ask for them.

Please do not equate a woman mailing photos freely given to her back to the recipients and their family to a hacker stealing private information.

Tell the person's mom/sister/aunt/whomever what the person did, and then if they don't believe you, show them the evidence.

So in this scenario in your head, when a complete stranger e-mails you (or whatever) out of nowhere to tell you your relative is scum, you don't immediately block and report the person, but instead enter a conversation with her, providing her an opportunity to cite evidence to support her case?

You may get more dick pics from a concerted few, but part of the problem is people simply don't think about why this is a problem. And when this happens, those people will think. You're probably going to see fewer dicks this way.

At least, fewer unwanted ones. Because there's nothing wrong with wanted photos of someone's junk.

Eh, I'd prefer if sending unsolicited dickpics could just be turned over to the authorities who could prosecute the guilty party for sexual harrassment. Since that is, as far as I'm aware, entirely unlikely to work, this seems like a decent course of action. If you really think the pic you sent isn't a big deal, or that sending it is a proper way to conduct yourself, you should be able to defend that to your family members and friends as well. But if you'd prefer that what you did stays hidden from even those closest to you, you might want to rethink doing it in the first place.

I don't get why this is so difficult. A large percentage of society does not appreciate having random pictures of genitals sent to them by strangers. So don't do that. It's rude and often perceived as intimidating. A little concern for the comfort of others isn't that much to ask. I don't understand why you would send those pics in the first place. What would you hope to accomplish?

I think it's a good thing to do. Naming & Shaming is a time honoured way of dealing with creepy/bad people. If her example reduces unsolicited dick pics, then she is a modern Internet hero.

Sending "nude pics" isn't about it being sensible. It is the faux feeling of doing something forbidden thats attractive. That and knowing that you SO wants you bad. I can only advise you to try it.
Just the fact that you're talking about "sensible" here means you're not very sexually adventurous - and that's totally fine. To each his own. I think you should just relax and live a little, or at least let other people live the way they want to, yeah?

If you're super paranoid about someone "hacking" you, you can always just not include your head/face in the picture or video.

Men are turned on by vag pics and tits pics, so they believe women get turned on by dick pics.

While I cannot presume to be speaking for "all men" I can say that I would be VERY surprised if a lot of men were turned on by a random vag or even a pair of nice tits, aside from the very young or very sexually frustrated.

For me, at least, it is exactly as what you describe. It isn't about seen a vag (and they don't always look that inviting either, mind you) it is about knowing that the picture was sent to YOU and that YOU make your SO WANT to send you those pictures.

These are unsolicited dick pics, though, not ones both have consented to. There's a difference to exposing yourself at someone without their permission, and getting consensually naked with them.

Unsolicited dick pics are sexual harassment, and something that should be dealt with by the appropriate authorities, not by citizens. Get a dick pic? Go to the police and report harassment, don't take the law into your own hand.

And I'd say that it is very much a danger that comes with being so damn reachable. With all their instagrams, twitters, snapchats, and facebooks people are exposing themselves to the world, so when the world, or some guy named Chad, exposes back you shouldn't be that surprised.
