Not to be mean or something. But... heads are sort of empty.
She said it. "We live in America". I rest my case.

And someone says: "I think people should try to be as knowledgable as they can." That's a pretty smart comment right there. However, the "Is this a joke" comment makes me believe this is scripted. Because of the extreme black and white view :p

Edit:
We have had a few programs here in the Netherlands featuring our... less bright girls and I must say I had a few laughs because of some remarks they made. I know it's cruel of me to laugh at this and I sorta do feel ashamed for it.

... Anyway I had a story here somewhere. . .
OH RIGHT. that sometimes people really are -that- thick, but I doubt this clip is genuine though. I think not. . . Then again...

I seriously doubt this is real. For one thing, not a lot of the girls in that video look like they'd be selected for Miss America.

However, if it is real... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

The actual question was if Evolution should be taught in schools. I'm pretty sure this is a sketch to make fun of the answers they gave.

Must be a sketch. It's just too far.

Seems to me to be mocking the evolution debate. It's clearly not real, come on guys. Good job by the women though, I was laughing the whole time.

That made my day. Of course it's a joke, but the scary thing is, there are actually people out there like that, or worse. Now I'm not referring to mentally retarded people, I mean actual functioning members of society. The worst part? They're reproducing..

See, most non-US people don't even know a pageant just happened. Plus you know, the US stereotypes...

Miss Vermont echoed my thoughts exactly.

EDIT: I spelt "exactly" wrong on my first attempt. I'm gonna go bang my head against a wall now.

The fact that people are debating whether or not this is real completely eliminated any shred of credibility that there might have been to the idea that people on this forum are even slightly smarter than the rest of the internet.

You need to have the obvious allegory of the "evolution in schools" debate pointed out to you?

Really.

Really?

I consider myself I pretty nice person, but REALLY? Can you not recognise satire or comedy without a laugh track? I can't even right now.

No. There is no way in the universal unviverse land that this is 'legit'. What "Miss.Vermont" said.
