Mate, I use to have a t-shirt with the image of flipping people off. Only time problem was abound was when I wore it to school and my teacher was less than thrilled my shirt was conveying my feelings of her. :p

Not my personal taste since I fancy plain, albeit well designed clothing. All the say, I see nothing wrong with the purchase, if it is what you desire. As for swearing, whomever claimed "pissed" is offended should be smacked.

I personally hate those kind of shirts because people who wear them I assure you, are worse people than you.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy it but if you insist, go ahead. When an angry parent comes up to you, prepare to give her a mouthful.

Some people like to ***** about things because they think thay have the right to not be offended, tell them to fuck off and wear it in protest to stupid people.

I honestly can't see the problem with it, checked the image, and the only profannity is "and they're pissed" on the back.

I would think that the people who got offended was either the same type of people who thinks girls who dress in low cut jeans and short tops thatshow off their stomach are whores who are asking to be raped, and that this new computer-thingy is bad news, and are ruining children. Or just someone very much against tree-hugging.
Neither of those 2 kind of people should be taken serious, at least not in this case. I mean, it's not live we live in 1910.

Ofc cultural differences may make a difference, it wouldn't be any sort of problem at all where i live.

In Australia, or at least with the people I hang around, the word "pissed" isn't considered much of a swear word, so no, I wouldn't see it offensive nor would anyone I know. As a matter of fact, we use "pissed" to refer to being "drunk" more than "angry".

Not going to lie I had a girl come through my store one day in tight sweatpants that said 'fuck you' and my first thought was 'stay classy.' I guess that's more me judging you than anything else. I wouldn't worry about it. If someone finds it offensive tell them to look away (or scroll by if you're feeling like a smart ass)

Yup.

Because all the guys I know that wear shirts like those in public are
1.little kids
2.over 30
3.Poor
4.Immature
5.Mentally unstable
6.Literally, retarded
8.Stinky
9.sad people trying to make themselves stick out society by wearing lame t-shirts

(if you want to get your panties in a knot because you want to prove to yourself that you are not one of these, then save yourself the effort and stop buying those shirts or at least not wear them in public)
(also, bet you did not notice I skipped a letter)
Well while I own plenty of deodorant and cologne and all that wonderful business I've run out of antiperspirant =(

So I spose that means after my morning gym workout I do kinda stink so I'd like to apologize for fitting your stereotype of horrible people who wear lame shirts... But I digress...

I'm never offended by words. Somebody can say to my face as many swear words as they like I couldn't care, to be completely honest I'd take more offense to being called a "poo head" or an "ignoramus" (hoho big word time). You see, how I see things is it's not what you say, but the intent with which you say it. I only take offense to something said to be offensive, it's why I don't understand people who self-censor and cry out "shoot" when they hurt themselves. Come on people! You mean to say "SHIT" say it loud and proud! You've hurt yourself you have earned the right and besides even if you say shoot I know what you mean to say, the meaning and the intent is exactly the same I don't care what string of sounds you use to express yourself I only care about what you're trying to express. It's like shooting down Stephen Hawkings opinion because he talks through a computer fuck.

So in conclusion, hateful speech offends me, swear words? Get fucked =)

I'll take drawback #7 on the condition that I get to continue wearing whatever I want. Or, you could stop throwing random insults at people because they like wearing entertaining clothing.

It's not offensive. I have a shirt that says "grandpa fucking spaceshuttle" on it that I wear to school on a regular basis, and have never been told to take off or change.

I'll wear an offensive shirt, I don't care! Lots of people can't keep their opinions to themselves, so why shouldn't I express mine on a t-shirt? I'd gladly wear a shirt that says "Fuck off". Call me ignorant :p

I noticed the skipped number, and fixed it ;D. Anyway, for the record, I am:

1. An adult.
2. Aged 20.
3. Actually earning more than my parents, with a part-time job and student loan.
4. Quite mature, though to be fair I've always been mature for my age.
5. No mental problems here, completely sane and normal thank you very much...
6. Again, no mental problems, and definitely not retarded.
7. Not stinky, I shower regularly, wash my clothes often, and generally have very good personal hygiene.
8. I have no need to stick out, in fact I'm happy to remain in the background doing my thing...

I also typed all that while wearing a Scott Pilgrim t-shirt, in public no less (it's the t-shirt I've worn all day and I'm now at my university library). I've also been thinking of buying a few funny t-shirts or hoodies from the webcomic Questionable Content. I do plan on buying similar t-shirts too online, and see no reason why I should hide my interests just because some ignorant people think anyone wearing a humourous t-shirt or a shirt with an obscure reference should be labelled as one of the above.

Anyway, regarding the OP, for anyone who wants to know where the 'swear word' is, it's apparently on the back of the t-shirt (there are pictures if you look hard enough on the site in the link). And for the record, I don't see any problem, it's just a word. If you're wearing it in public then you'll be wearing it in casual settings, like just going out to the shops or something. You'll hardly be wearing it in a fancy setting, so I don't see where any offence will be caused. That is to say, yeah, go for it :).

I'm pretty sure this is stealth advertising, but no, profanity on articles of clothing isn't very appropriate.
So "pissed" counts as an unappropipiate profanity?

Are you by any chance from the fifties?
No, I just know that some people still consider that offensive. I wouldn't care if I saw someone wearing a shirt like that, but profanity on a shirt is still considered inappropriate by a lot of people.

Yeah, but when did "pissed" become a profanity?

It's not really that high on the list of offensive things to say, but a lot of people still consider it inappropriate to use when talking to people you don't know.
