How do you figure that? I know people like saying that based on Team Ico's previous two games, but spoiler... nobody dies in those games.

No Man's Sky was showcased at E3 last year.

I know shit-all about Horizon but I'll check it out.
They're still all original IP's, as in 'no sequel/remake/reboot'. Whether they took a while to get here is another matter.

Here's a general rule of thumb when it comes to books/movies/games that try to tug at your heart strings like Team Ico. The dog ALWAYS dies.

It's like how in a movie you see a child in peril at the hands of the evil monster. Of course the child never gets hurt, but it's a cheap stock scene to generate an emotional reaction
