Either way, what would be wrong with being a hipster if you liked looking like that?

The thing about hipsters is they are "liking" the things they like TO BE "hip". If you're just liking it because you like it, whether it be a curly mustache, a silly belt buckle, or a classic gaming patch http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/activision_patches.html then what does it matter what people think about you for liking it?
