Is this wrong?

Minutes ago I stopped playing AVA Online.
It's a free to play FPS like many others that I tried a while ago and quit,but I reinstalled it today.
I didn't expect all of the new features, so I like it.

But among those new features,there is a gameplay mode called riot. I was curious and joined a game, ooooh boy, it's a coop mode in which 4-5 soldiers are playing cooperatively and trying to escape a prison filled with hostile inmates.

So kind of like zombie mode,but with people.And trust me,it's really bloody.So is this mode..... wrong ?

As far as I know there is no indication that those prisoners are zombies, or infected.

Why would it be wrong?

They're video game models, made from digital pixels. Why would it make any difference if some of those pixels were slightly more zombie coloured?

OT: Those people do seem to be trying quite hard to kill you, seems fair enough to shoot them in the face.

And obviously there's the whole just a game thing.

Reminds me of the jailbreak servers in Counter-Strike where all the CTs get guns, and the Ts are inmates with knives in a prison. The CTs order the Ts to have competitons, and the loser dies, or the Ts can 'rebel' and try to kill the CTs. Usually they fail, but once one gets a gun, the rest attack too.

Ontopic, IT'S A GAME FOR GOD'S SAKE. Who cares if you're shooting pixels?

no, hostile inmates where probably serial killers

in fact I almost view it more right to kill a hostile inmate than a normal citizen forced to kill against their will
