I am a big fan of the Fallout series, i started with Fallout 3 and now i am playing Fallout New Vegas but I am a little obsessed because i have literally beaten Fallout 3 20 times and Fallout New Vegas almost 15 times. I also just started playing Fallout 1 and 2 because I love the series and world of fallout. So does it seem like I play Fallout to much? If you guys have any games you love to an almost creepy degree please say so.

Well, Mass Effect for me...

It's not so much the game as it is the characters...

Two specific characters...

Erm... no?

I replay Portal over and over again sometimes (granted it's only an hour long, but I still play it an awful lot) and it's just as fun every time. Plus, Fallout is just such an expansive game (series) that you can play each new game in a different way and not get bored.

I've beaten KotOR over 60 times and KotOR 2 over 20 times.
So, nah, there's nothing wrong with it.

There's nothing wrong with it. The only potential problem would be the predetermined dislike of other simularly themed games, or just other games.

Hey, You can never play enough Fallout!

Also: Yeah, I have to admit that I play Fallout 2 and Morrowind a lot.
I can't remember how many hours I've put into Morrowind...

I've played Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas, and Tactics. So I've officially played every Fallout game and beaten them except for Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel which I'm still not sure if I should get. Trust me, you don't play Fallout too much.

Fallout is a game that I don't think you can play too many times. With how open world it is, the choices in character building you can do, karma paths and DLC, I don't think you can play it too much. A game maybe like Darksiders, that I'm currently playing right now, feels like a single, maybe a double play through but that's it. It's got a cool story, decent gameplay, but you just can't justify playing it as many times as you've played Fallout (and I'm right there with you, Fallout 3 has taken over 500 hours of my life over several characters). There's just some games that warrant several playthroughs and literally tons of hours, and others that sadly don't deserve such credit.

Hmm. I've always wanted to get into the original Fallouts. Do they really have that much open ended-ness?

Also, Legend of Dragoon for the PS1. I freaking mastered that game.

I maxed out the save timer (99:99:99) multiple times.

-Which, as a side note, is a sadly lost feature of modern rpgs. I felt good about FF13 having it, but the way you saved in that game made it so you couldn't just pause and check the time. You had to select your save file and wait a second for it to bring up the info.

It bummed me out.

So, yeah, that question about Fallout.

Nothing wrong with that. I've done the same thing with the Fallouts, along with just about every game series I own - 20+.

Is playing Fallout so much colliding with the rest of your life (social and otherwise)? Do you take breaks? Do you see your strengths and weaknesses as a perk and buff, de-buff system?:) Do you do anything apart from playing Fallout?
IMHO: If doing whatever a person wants to do does not bother anyone then by all means go ahead.

Actually, no... I despise Miranda and I never really payed attention to Jacob...

'twas Tali and Liara...

Good guess though!

I'm going to have to go with this guy. I've played Star Wars: Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy about 57 times. It's great to find a game with such replay value.

Well, I've beaten Bioshock....Probably 8 times? And that's a generous estimate.

WAIT! SHIT! Oblivion! I can't believe I forgot. Played that game for probably 200+ hours over around 2 years.

Is it wrong? No, absolutely not.

Could you find something better to do with all the time that you apparently have? Probably. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Fallout games, but that is a shit load of time. Maybe you'd like to do my homework instead? Then I could have some god damned free time.
