Iv played the demo and I enjoyed it. I liked the games style. The only thing which will stop me fro buying it is that I suspect it will be quite a short game, also the whole jumping around thing has been done already with John Woo?s strangle hold and wow was that a bad game.

Oh God! A Grammar Nazi Attack! Take this sucka!

And on topic:
I will try it as soon as I can (It's for the PC right?) and will give you my feedback.
But by the screens, I think it will be good.

im not a young gamer iv been gaming for 15 years, and just for u i will go down the list 1. i aim at some guys and it take 22 shots before it registers a headshot 2. the rubi vision is also linked to the wall run button so if u are near a wall while trying to find a way down a cliff u will run off the cliff. 3 one time while trying to progress to the next part in the level i jumped to a ledge and looked for awhile for a way out but i had to restart on the second time i jumped to the same ledge and i didnt grab the ledge i just fell finally on the third try it opened the window that was closed both times i went there, 4 it is almost impossible to string together slo-mo kill combos, (such as wall run, acrobatic jump, power slid, pole kill, wall run kill, ect.) the only ones that work together where the acrobatic jump and power slid other then that it doesnt want to register the power slid to the wall run for example. now to me that last one was a big proplem cause thats how u get graded is by how u string those together
0) Learn how to type. I'm not being a grammar nazi, just when you type long blocks like that, it's confusing to read.
1) They made it so that it's more difficult to kill the guys outside of her special free run aim mode otherwise what's the point? You could just run in and shoot them all.
2) Yes. That's the point.
3) What?
4) It isn't. Just because you can't do something doesn't mean it's difficult.
Maybe I'm being naive but this has been the only game I've been looking forward to this year and seeing that the last game I was looking forward to was Silent Hill: Homecoming... I'm really hanging my hopes on the games industry not be a stale mess of repetitive re-runs on this. So, whatever happens I'm going to make a solid effort to enjoy this game and judging that the only complaints you have seem to be just for the sake of complaining then I'm feeling pretty confident that I will.
À bientôt. =]
0) yes i have bad grammer that why i didnt want to post everything that was wrong with the game. 1) its not that i cant pull of a headshot its that even when i have them dead to rights cross hairs on their head i pull the trigger it takes a whole clip to register the headshot. 2) i mean you run off the cliff before you see where to jump and run off the wall down the cliff and die. 3) the game wouldnt let me get through a area. 4) its not thats its difficult, its that the game isnt as free flowing as it should be. finally im not saying dont play the game im saying be advised that it isnt as good as its made out to be.

Some of the QTE bits in the demo were impressive looking, as were the grindhouse style red bits.

But the vanilla sections were awful I thought.

The character animations and models were like something from the PS2 era.

Oh yeah... the gameplay... meh. It was just... dull.

And my god the music was horrific.

I miss when being positive about something wasn't deemed uncool. It's fun. I've played the demo and I'm looking forward to playing it. Clearly I'm wrong and not down with the cool kids but oh well, I think running around walls and slitting people up is fun.

i downloaded the demo the other day and from what i gathered from it the game wasnt all that bad but at the same time it wasnt that good either. playing the game i font it very conventional and uninspiring and they didnt seem to try and push that many boundaries or step up the hack and slash genre in anyway.

but saying that they have kept to a formula that works sure its abit boring but its tried and true its being released in shops in the uk at 29.99 instead of the 39.99 so i think they know that the game isnt going to be a smash hit but more a boredome buster liike if u got a couple of hours to spare and dont really feel like playing a indepth game then this game would be good for that just somthing to eat up a small amount of time.

Well, I hated Okami, so we're in the same boat.
HERECY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why?
It sucked.
Because Okami is artsy darling of the video game industry (Move over Psychonauts, you had your chance) and to criticise it is to insult the majority of the games-are-art crowd. (Not bashing them, I'm in that crowd myself. It's just Okami is one of their poster-boys)

I quite liked it, the graphics looked gorgeous, the celestial brush was a neat technique, and I loved the fantastically irreverent attitude of it (Ancient Japanaese myths! With spaceships! Two of them! And a blond frenchman with a flute that turns into a lightsaber! Clockwork owl pimps!)
which nonetheless managed to still be reasonably serious and produce one of the longest most emotionally draining boss fights I've played.

That said, the wii-waggle controls were unresponsive, the voice work was irritating, and the dungeon design was somewhat simplistic.

Would you kindly elaborate on "it sucked"?

i really enjoyed it. I played the demo 2 or 3 times and liked it. from the bullet time ( yes yes i know its well past its prime) to the close combat it was good all around in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Quentin Tarantino's work and when i found out he had actually help work on the game it made it a even bigger reason to buy it when it retails ( in November if i remember right)

Hated controls (when it got to the point where I hadn't the first clue what the fuck I was doing the whole time, I decided to read the manual. No help there), disliked art style (although that was a minor thing for me, because I saw HOW it was art. I didn't like it, but it wasn't the kind of modern-art-what-the-fuck-is-this-shit kind of thing), too much talking, boring, a lonely atmosphere in the game and just generally rather dull. The stories failed to grasp my attention, to the point at which, every time a cutscene came along, I'd leave the room and let it run (I never worked out if you could skip them or not). Also, the cricket-thing I just wanted to step on.

meh... i played the demo... and in my opinion i think its just like stanglehold.... except with car scenes and generally less free flowing as stranglehold...
