No matter what anyone says, I'm still getting this game. I'm a sucker fan of things like this. Plus I enjoyed No More Heroes and lots of people thought it was bad.

Oh, and It just came out on the 15th.

It's decent the whole bullet time thing has gotten stale for me. the point that convinced me not to buy it though was the sequence with the cars. They thought bullet time hadn't been done to death hard so they added a quick time event. One massive quick time event. It could have just as easily been been replaced platforming section.

Have you even read the reviews man? There are quite a few out now, and everyone is saying the game is generally bad. Most of them address it with the, "you are either going to love or hate it, no real in between" token phrase.

I personally liked the graphic style and even the demo gameplay, but I realize that there is close to no content with the retail game and that the action in itself is very...simplistic. So I'm going to wait for the price to drop, and considering how this game is being reviewed, that shouldn't take long.

the flow, the music, the eccentric vibe ... if you play it right it's just non stop fun .. it's like watching zombie strippers .. if you take it too seriously it's a cliché borefest .. but go into it with an open mind, sense of humor and the will to have fun and it becomes godly awesome

go in with an open mind and let wet suck you in .... i played the demo 30+ times and i'm getting the game the second it's released

it's colourful, fun and doesn't take itself too seriously ... gold

I understand how someone wouldn't like Okami.

It is beautiful to look at and super original, but it does start to get boring around 40 hours in.

Add to that the horrible voice effects... BLUURP BLEEB BLOOGLE BLOO

and the repeated boss battles...

and I can see how it would piss people off.

I played the demo, and couldn't wait for it to end. It's only out of some ridiculously misplaced sense of courtesy that I finish demos - after all , what's 5 minutes? In the case of WET, a bloody life time.

I played the demo and wasn't overly impressed either. They have a lot of good ideas it just seems they're not executed very well.

It got 70 at Metacritic which means the game is pretty "mixed or average" in the eyes of teh_critics. I tried the demo and it failed pretty bad at it's purpose: makeing me want to buy the whole game.

I've heard of this game but have no idea what it is. It sounds like a puzzle game.

It was in another thread of games people might be excited about - I don't know how many votes it got but it made the OP's suggestions list at least.

I guess I'm interested now as people have opinions both ways.
