No, I was an only child and my parents had no interest in games and stick to the notion that they are all still like Space Invaders.

I'm sure I remember seeing an advert when I saw them possibly for Prototype and my father saying 'that's not what it looks like though I bet' to which I responded 'it states it's actual game footage' then my mother said 'why are they making the music sound like a movie?'. (paraphrasing as I do not remember the exact conversation)

And to this day neither one of them fully knows how to use the task bar let alone the Internet.

Edit: Thinking about it perhaps going into software engineering was my way of rebelling as they both like good music and have already told me they took drugs when younger and if I dressed like some goth when I was younger they would probably have asked where to get clothing like that.

I live in a house with three computers, all of which are located in my room. My family is not interested and never will be interested, in the internet. Which is great for me I suppose.

My dad's gotten a little addicted to the computer, but he's not as bad as some people. Other than that, I'm the only family member to own a console, play video games, and generally be a little bit of a tech-dork. But he's also the one who got me into Star Wars, so I gotta give the old man some credit. Thanks, Pop!

My dad only really plays sports games (FIFA and FIGHT NIGHT,) though as soon as Red Dead Redemption comes out he'll probably be playing it non-stop. He's very excited for it.

My brother and I both play, but neither of us really has time for more than an hour or two here or there. Whenever I come home for breaks though all bets are off and a gaming marathon is unleashed, we're both console gamers though and don't really use the computer except for the internet. My mom enjoys casual computer games like Zuma and takes up the family computer playing those. She is also somewhat computer savvy, but her go to plan whenever something is wrong is almost always to reformat the hard drive. My dad just stays away from all of them except for the occasional "pew pew" noises he makes while walking by me and my brother.

Not really. When one of my older brothers lived here we'd battle for control of the PC and before that the N64 at times, but he doesn't live at home anymore and neither of us really play much as we've gotten older. He's the only person in my family who ever really did play games besides myself.

My family is like this. Some computer is on 24hrs a day, even if it's only to communicate with my family in a different country. But we're all technowhores. Well, my mom isn't.

I WISH! My dad won't stop harping on about me playing videogames. I don't know what planet he's on because i refuse to buy Xbox Live Gold in any increments larger than 1 month because it'd be a waste. I play videoghames that rarely.

However, thats useful because i can bend the facts about vidoegames whenever i need.

FOR EG)
"I need to save the game, Mom!" = I want to play longer

My mom has her own laptop that she uses occasionally. I use the family computer the most since I paid for most of it, but my dad occasionally hijacks it to do businessy stuff.

I have six computers in my house - three desktops, three laptops. In contrast, my family consists of four people, including myself.
I'm the only PC gamer.
I question my family.

Well let's see now. I'm a pretty big gamer, my Dad plays games and is one hell of a computer programmer. My sister hasn't really strayed further than games like the sims and project gotham, and my mother is sort of the stereotypical, doesn't really know much about gaming in a funny sort of way kind of mother.

Mind you back in the glory days of the original xbox, I remember every saturday night we used to all head down and play some fusion frenzy. God that was a fun game.
