Is your favorite Manga also your favorite Anime?

Fairly simple yes or no question. Is the manga you enjoy reading the most the same as the anime you enjoy watching the most?

I'm not really a big manga reader or big anime watcher, but it's just something I was thinking about.

In my case, No. My favorite manga is The Kindaichi Case Files, while my favorite anime is Cromartie High School.

But I'd like to hear from others.

Not for me, my favorite manga is Mahou Sensei Negima. It starts out pretty slow but once you get about 10 or 12 volumes in the story gets really freaking interesting and all these awesome characters show up.

Favorite anime is Baccano, anyone who has seen it will probably know why. I'm not sure if it even has a manga or not.

Nope, my favorite manga is Beelzebub, and its anime adaptation is less than shit.

My favorite anime is Steins;Gate, and that is an adaptation of a visual novel, not a manga.

Nah, my favorite manga is Battle Royale, and it doesn't exist as an anime. If it did I'm pretty sure it would be one of my favorites.

EDIT: Oh, favorite anime is Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Fnuggin hilarious.

Nope, my favourite manga is Soul Eater. It's still ongoing but the anime diverged from the story to make it 50 or so episodes long, and I thought the anime ending was a bit of a cop-out.

Interestingly my favourite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist BECAUSE of the change in the initial anime adaption. I just prefer it to the manga storyline - I think the majority of people do too.

I don't know what my favorite anime is. Madoka and Nanoha are pretty damn good, but I've read the manga for neither of them. Haruhi is also really damn good, but the manga is watered down. I have the omnibus for Azumanga Daioh, but it's not my favorite show (even if it is really damn good). So my answer is no?

I don't read a lot of manga, but I've read a lot of Trigun, so I'd say it's my favorite.
While the Trigun anime is great, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my favorite anime right now. I just find it so much better than the original show.

Nope. My favorite manga is xxxHOLiC but I hate the anime version. Don't really have a specific favorite anime though I've watched many.

Guess most people have different favorites in anime and manga. No wonder since anime rarely stays truly faithful to its source material. And that can affect it quality both way I dare say (usually gets worse though).
Anyway it's no for me as well. My favorite manga is Berserk (I think thats part of why I grew up to be a patient man) while my favorite anime is either Ghost in the Shell or Last Exile. Hard to decide so I won't. A bit of a cheat but whatever.

My favorite manga is Uzumaki and, well, there isn't an anime adaptation of it to begin with.
There is a less than stellar live-action movie, though.

Eh... Trigun, I suppose. But it's been a while since I saw it and I don't really watch anime anymore.

No, but its close. Rurouni Kenshin is my favorite Manga, but my second favorite Anime, because Cowboy Bebop is my number one.

Nope, Kuroshitsuji is my favourite anime but I don't like its manga series (which is still ongoing) as much. My favourite manga is probably Fruits Basket, though I haven't read half as much manga as I have watched anime.
