Cwmaman is where the Stereophonics, including the recentlydeceased Stuart Cable, come from. They are mega-stars now and still live in the village!

A teacher/wrestler I knew lived in my town. He attempted to kill a girl and it made national news. Thats about it, but of course, I come from a town of 3,000.

In Goldsboro We've got an Air Force Base, our city is the county seat, Andy Griffith(from that show on TV Land that your parents may watch) taught math at the high school, and we have a damn good barbeque place that fellas in Israel have heard of and mentioned by name to a visiting friend of the pastor of my church.....thats it

My hometown is famous for a few things in my country. Few of the most important people for our country are born here; a music festival for pop music is held here every year and it's tradition for almost 30 years; and it's famous mostly for this:

this my friends it's called Pastrmajlija (Пастрмајлија; if you can read Cyrillic). It's a specialty of my town, and to come here and not to try it - it's a sin against the locals :) I don't know if it looks delicious (I guess not cause all you can see is meat), but it sure taste incredible.

Well the Church in the movie the Graduate is the one and the same. It's actually the same one used in Wayne's World 2 as well. Just mirror imaged.

Also for those of you who have watched Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, this is the the town of Water Lube (Raging Waters) and the Circle K that was in the movie, the part where they meet their past selves, is the one in the same.

Okay, I kinda cheated, but I live on the border of the two cities La Verne and San Dimas, so I count them both. That's all I've got for now. Cool stuff though.

OT: No, not much except we have The Gearagh: the only extant extensive alluvial woodland in Western Europe. :D
