Alcohol is more physically harmful than most drugs. It is easily more physically harmful than marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, mescaline, or DMT. It is arguably in the same ballpark of physical harm as cocaine. It is moderately less hard in most ways, but alcohol has a lower lethal to effective dose ratio (10:1) than cocaine (15:1), making it a harder drug in perhaps the most objective classification of a drug's danger.
Alcohol is a terrible, terrible drug that would not be allowed if not for cultural acceptance.
It is also probably the least enjoyable drug listed. Still a good time though.

Do you have any idea how much 4.5 liters is? If you're in Europe, that's 3 large milk cartons, and if you're in the US or UK, that's almost 1.5 gallons. If you were to buy that in petrol here, it would cost you 8 euros. You would die from edema, and it would probably be painful, since you would also choke half to death because the oxygen concentration in you blood would fall dramatically, because water thins you blood.
I have downed a full gallon of water in about in about ten minutes then gone back for at least another two-thirds of a gallon.
Of course, I hadn't had water in a couple days at that point.
