What really creeps me out about that Dirt Girl World thing is that it is a show apparently promoting outside play... yet, all the while the kids are watching, they are missing out on time they could be spending outside!

Well im in a smallish dorm room so I wasn't looking over my shoulder. I did however keep peeking out the window. I almost expected him to be peering over the five foot snowbank that is not to far from my window.

I spent a large portion of last week babysitting my nephew. This mostly meant making sure he didn't hurt himself and watching lots of "educational" television (I'll save that rant for another time). Most of the shows were boring and/or insipid, but there's one that will haunt my nightmares for years to come. It's called Dirt Girl World.

I think it's mostly the way that people's eyes and mouths are haphazardly placed on poorly animated lurching abominations that makes me want to kill them all and purge my memories with bleach if need be.

So, what horrid monstrosities have crawled out of the Uncanny Valley to assault your nightmares lately?

Oh yeah, I've seen that show. Never knew what it was called before, but I've seen it. At my college there's this bank of TV's up on the 3rd floor of the tech wing where all the Multimedia classes are held and one of them is tuned to a kid's channel for some odd reason and that show would come on at about noon everyday. Yeah it seriously weirds me out, esp. that caterpillar. *shiver*
