Not many people I've talked to are in the Christmas mood. I'm also having a hard time enjoying the people aound me, the arguing feels like it has no end. Plus to make it even better, I'm snowed in. Just trying to enjoy the wonders of Christmas. Any Advice?

My advice is to go on some bizarre adventure-turned-musical number that somehow leads you to the meaning of Christmas, provoking a full-on song-and-dance rendition of your personal epiphany.

Failing that, just sit back and enjoy your presents. Christmas has been so bastardized nowadays that there's not much left to feel besides glee at your newfound loot.

I agree, it's Christmas eve, yet it does not feel festive, there is no overaching anticipation of tomorrow morning, I really can't explain it.

The only genuine christmas feeling I had this year was today at my grandparents house.
They're happy funny antics, and same old tree and ornaments remind me of the fun I'd had in the unspoiled ye olde days of childbeing.

I suggest finding something that has a real 'christmas feeling' from childhood.
perhaps an old movie you used to watch

Go pirating, that always gets me in the mood. Pink Floyd for everyone! But remember to feel remorse and delete it as soon as you've had your Christmas fun, or else I'll have to gut you. Like a fish.

Exactly! For me, even though as i write this, it is Christmas day. And I would usually be asleep by now. I am not asleep because i just don't feel Christmassy.

Is there something different this Christmas? Apart from the recession, or could that cause this much of a change of feeling?

I have to agree, its past two in the morning, I'm very very drunk and I still don't feel the Christmas spirit. AND I'M DRUNK! Seriously, society has to sink a fair way for people not to feel festive whilst being drunk off their collective knockers.

Gah!

It's depressing!

Bring back Christmas, bring back family sing songs, bring back Rudolph! BRING BACK SOME MORE ALE, WENCH!

I dunno about Christmas, but it sure feels like winter. It's not even January and there's close to three feet of snow on the ground. It's uncommon where I live for more than six inches to be on the ground at this time of year!

Uh santa might not be delivering as much cheer this year..

I might have fired a couple of shots at santa... he has two broken legs and his arms crippled, yeah. Anyway rudolph survived the rat poison and um he got away, so if you see him please finish him.

WWATD? Just ask yourself what would a tourist do because they manage to be captivated at even the most tedious things.

Exact opposite here. We haven't had a lick of snow all year and we should definitely have had at least some. And it's only 32 degrees at night.

Lucky! I'm just happy that my snowblower is working, otherwise, I probably would have gone totally nuts!

See thats what I thought, until it stopped me from seeing 90% of my family for christmas. I'm all for a white christmas, just not one that affects my ability to see people.
Idk.
