I've had mine since christmas '07, and the only time i've gotten any rings is when my brother kicked it over (playing guitar hero) and it gave a ring pattern that translates as a hard disk read error. I let it calm down and turned it on 10 minutes later, and it was fine.
Dude, my friends Xbox gets red lights ALL OF THE TIME, nothing actually breaks on it, but like every week it'll just go "beep" lol.

That's something a fanboy would say. It's easier just to have it replaced than argue with legal talk after the year warranty. But, 5th times a charm, this one works 95% of the time.iron codpiece said:

Have it sent to be repaired, it's just two weeks.
I keep my original Xbox, so when my 360 goes on the medical vacation I simply play with my old and faithful until my fair maiden returns to me. I play my old games, Halo, Halo 2, Otogi, Fable and all the rest while she's gone.
Then when she returns to me I embrace her and we go home for many hours of chainsaws and bloody screaming (Gears of War 2).
Metaphor obviously.

I didn't say anything about a Ps3. I just had an 360 and it died on me after about a week. I said 'it's okay ... it happens'. Got my new one and it died on me after about a month. I said 'fuck this noise'sirdanrhodes said:
