Exactly what it says on the tin: What are some of your moments that give you chills every time you see/think about them?
A few of my personal ones:
- Back to the Future. Marty being sent back to 1985.
- Superman Returns. (I know, I know) After ignoring physics and catching a plane, Superman stands in front a roaring crowd.
- Dragon Ball Z. Gohan's lengthy Kamehameha duel with Cell.

- The officer's speech near the end of the movie Gallipoli. Followed by tears at the ending.

- There's this one bit in War and Peace where Pierre gets into a hand-to-hand struggle with a French officer. Pierre is a big, overweight and burly fellow. When he puts his hands around the officers neck the book describes them (his hands) as "weapons of primitive terror."

- Wreck-it Ralph. When Venelope goes speeding down the gum ball section of the racetrack. I have no idea why.

- The action-packed climax of District 9.

- That sequence in Children of Men. If you've seen the movie, you know what I mean.

- Mass Effect 2 during Lair of the Shadow Broker. When Liara looks up at the screen of data feeds with that 'Oh, I got this' look on her face.

- Many of the emotional moments in the Mass Effect trilogy, particularly one sequence on the Krogan homeworld in Mass Effect 3
- The "Ecstasy of Gold" scene towards the end of The Good the Bad and the Ugly
- The final scene in Pulp Fiction, particularly Samuel L. Jackson's beautiful (yes, beautiful) monologue that ends the film

More moments than I could mention in The Shield or The Wire. Certain scenes in 13 assassins... you'll know which if you've seen it.

I'll probably out myself as a sap, but... The end of Smoke.

Some music examples:
-The entirety of the Beatles' song "In My Life".
-The short guitar riff near the later part of The Who's "Baba O'Reilly"
-That part of the video for the Gorillaz's song "Feel Good Inc", when Noodle starts playing her guitar. Every single time, I just shut my eyes and turn up the volume.

The mission War Pig in Call of Duty 4. I love how it drops you right in the middle of the fray.

"JACKSON! GET YOUR ASS ON THE LINE NOW! WE GOT HOSTILES MOVING IN FROM THE NORTH!"

This whole song, but the ending solo brings a tear to my eye.

So much emotion, and you let it out like a faucet.

I think since this primarily a gaming website, a lot of you will appreciate this:
After 3:45, good-feeling chills.

The next three videos are, in my opinion, the greatest videos on Youtube because they are just so damn moving.

It gives me chills every time:
-I see needles piercing human flesh (be it a simple vaccination, donating blood, or acupuncture)
-Twisted bone fractures
-That one scene in the anime series finale of Berserk; you know the one...

For me, it was listening to The Wall for the first time. The change from In the Flesh? to Outside the Wall never fails to give me chills, especially at the part where "we came in". This is something you need to listen to the album to get what happened.

From the top of my head:
Hans Zimmer - Like a dog chasing cars (from The Dark Knight OST)
Final Fantasy VIII intro song
Michael McCann - Icarus (from Deus Ex Human Revolution OST)
and that moment in Batman Begins when Batman uses that device to call a swarm of bats.

I assume you're talking about...

...the birth scene.

That was pretty good. I still can't figure out how they pulled that off. As in, where did the real life actor stop and the special effect begin. The camera work in that movie was fucking brilliant.

OT:
- The Incredibles when Dash realizes he's badass enough to run on water, and the score swells up...
- Berserk when Sir Laban utters the phrase "The brighter the light shines, the darker the shadows fall."
- Akira: Tetsuo vs. Kaneda with laser rifle.
- Practically every dream sequence in Twin Peaks.
- The muffled scream in the appartment complex in Silent Hill 2.
- The ending to Journey.
- The ending to The Walking Dead.
- Jeff Goldblum's "The insect is awake" monologe from The Fly.
- The "Kom Susser Tod" sequence from End of Evangelion.
- Murphy's death scene from Robocop.
- The "Sparkplug Minuet" scene from The Royal Tenenbaums.
- The "Canis Lupus" scene from Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Totally agree.

I love that song, and it fits the game so well. Have you heard the piano version of it?

OT: There are a few parts in The Count of Monte Cristo that totally do.

-The prison scene in Silent Hill 2, I'm not gonna say what it is because it's spoiler territory.

-Every time I heard Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. I just sit back and listen.

There are many more, but

The main battle in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, both the beginning and the full scene. The musical score especially helped make it amazing.

This song... is just gorgeous, especially in context.

I assumed they meant
The part where the fighting stops and as everybody realises there is a baby. When nobody has seen one in years.

A whole bunch of scenes in Kick-Ass; Big Daddy clearing out the lumberyard, all of them getting to head to/heading to Safehouse B, and Hitgirl saving BD and KA.

Final scene of Little Big Soldier.

Opening credits from Watchmen.

Aurora Borealis, one thing I must do before I die is go way up north for a holiday and see it.
