Uh-oh.

I only managed to not buy anything at the last one because my computer was in pieces.

If I buy anything else, I'm never going to get round to installing it, let alone playing it.

Solvemedia: done that
Yeah, I think we all have.

I'm definitely getting The Cave. 75% off!

I'm actually considering Defiance as well... Any thoughts on that one?
For the price they are asking, Defiance is worth it. It is a fun massive 3rd person shooter. If you are expecting any type of MMO format though, you will be disappointed, so go in expecting a 3rd Person Shooter with a fun story and enjoy yourself.

OT: I'm kind of disappointed so far. I hope they pick up the pace later on in the sale. As of right now, there is very little that interests me at the prices they are asking. The few that are good games for good prices I already own.

Damn it! Dishonored didn't win the vote. And I already own Borderlands 2.

I've picked up Scribblenauts and Dark Souls so far. But I'm still waiting for a significant drop for Skyrim Legendary edition and Dishonored.

That's pretty much it for me I think. Maybe I'll get Metro: Last light if I see it go ludicrously cheap, but I won't be holding my breath for that one.

That should see me through until the Halloween or Thanksgiving sales at least.

So guys, we could use this space to discuss which game we hope will be reduced, and what we actually buy.

I voted Dishonoured for the next sale since I already have BL2 and FC3 :D

Only managed to see it for a second before the whole thing got overloaded ^_^'
i really have been wanting to get dishonoured, but bloody mongrels had to vote BL2 instead -_-

although i did finally get the season pass for it, i've been waiting for it to go for dirt cheap AND not be bundled with the game, and nows a good a time as any i suppose.

Darn Kingdoms of Amular isn't on sale. In fact I don't think I've ever seen it one sale. Maybe because the studio crashed?
go to gamersgate, it's 75% off for the bundle right now, get it!

I may have to sit this one out cause reasons, but I just calculated how much my wishlist would come up to if I went all out and bought everything on there: $118. For like, 20 games. The deals are so good they hurt!

Oh god, I've been waiting so long for this. This is the time, my friends. The time... to be fiscally irresponsible.

Hmmm, Dragon Age Ultimate Edition is 50% off, should I by it now or wait and hope for a better deal?

I'm still reeling from Green Man Gaming's recent summer sale- picked up XCOM and both add-ons for ~$10 American. Steam's asking for $35 for the base game and $9 for the add-ons.
This information is of no use to anyone- just saying, I'm not as excited by a Steam summer sale as I used to be...

Wait until the deals almost done (23 of july) and buy it if there isn't a better sale in that time. It will likely get a better deal.

Not bad, but really, Bioshock Infinite is still $30? I'm sad, I saw it was headlining the sale and thought "Hell yes" but nope. Oh well, 7 games for $63 isn't too bad (Metro 2033, Fallout 3 GOTY, BL2 vanilla, Bioshock 1, Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate thing, and Hotline Miami). Gonna keep an eye out for anything really great, but I'm starting to get worried about my massive fuck off backlog. I still have Hearts of Iron III and Half-Life 2 w/ both episodes to go through, on top of what I just bought, and I'm still bouncing between CKII (Britannia will get vengeance upon the Golden Hoard), Endless Space (I will sort out the Amoebas), and 1000000, with occasional attempts at Binding of Issac.

You know, this would all be easier if I was unemployed and didn't sleep. Something to consider.

PRAISE LORD GABEN! HALLELUJAH!

Nothing really caught my eye today but that's okay, still got plenty of time and opportunities to take advantage of the sales.

It's on sale for 75% off on GamersGate. Please note though that it requires Origin to play that one so if that's a deal-breaker for you then there's that...

Here you go:

EDIT: Oops I guess someone beat me to it. Didn't check before I posted. Oh well.

...a friend of mine got overzealous about playing Borderlands 2, bought it for both of us (with a season pass and the Mechromancer DLC). I was gonna wait until there as an edition with all of the DLC available and on sale, maybe in a year or so... but I guess that's what I'll be playing tomorrow.

Aside from that, Bastion and Antichamber have called my name on the first day. Still hoping for a few early access games that are on my wishlist to go on a sale more massive than 33%.

So I've spent $9.03 on myself, and a friend has spent about $23 on me.

Welp I just spent £2.50 on the Civ 5 gold edition upgrade. If I'm not mistaken (it is possible, I'm at work so can't check my library) that's two mofo pounds and fifty pence for Gods & Kings and all DLC. Not bad, not bad at all - makes all those DLC-withheld civs a little more palatable, no?
