It hates me only when it is the most critical time for it to do as such. ie today, I had a project checkup due, and so with ten minutes to class I grab my memory stick plug it in, and suddenly my computer freezes. I reboot, and while I can move my mouse, I can't click. [Inbuilt laptop mouse, wired mouse and wireless mouse all refuse to click]. I reboot, suddenly I can't copy paste [just won't work]. Finally with a minute to go before I have to leave before I'm seriously late to class it lets up and lets me copy it over.

Last year, I lost 3 terms worth of work because my memory stick corrupted it's self whilst I was doing a save to my file on it. The three back ups [Hard drive, ext hard drive and school computers hard drive], were all apparently corrupted.

Computers hate me alot sometimes.

Printers. They hate me with a passion.
Oh God printers. Any time I have an assignment I need to print out, somehow the printer will manage to be out of ink and if it isn't out of ink, it just won't work.

My immune system has also started hating me. I had a few good years where I didn't get sick much at all, but this year I have managed to have the same cold for all of winter and just as I got over it, I have just picked it up again.

I know that inanimate objects are not out to make my day miserable, but that doesn't mean I can't blame them for it. Example:

You're a stupid computer, you know that?

I'm sure this is one of those situations where the lasting memories of bad things happening to you have skewed what you remember into making it seem more like everytime you try to do something important something bad happens, rather than those cases being the minority of times. Perhaps if you didn't attach such a massive symbolic importance on these bad events they would seem to be less frequent and hence not as much of a burden on your life. Of course, conversely you could just of had a string of very bad luck, but it's more likely that your memories have skewed towards remembering only the bad events which has given than an uneven happening from what you remember.
