It's the goddamn year 2011, and all we have is this game with mediocre graphics that lets us build castles with our bare goddamn hands and explore a map up to 8 times the size of the surface of the earth! It's not like GAMEPLAY or anything of the like has anything to do with the quality of the game, nor the fact that the lower graphical requirements make the game more accessible to players without fancy computers, no sirree. We need some goddamn rendering! That continent spanning building better have normal mapping and shit, or else we're going to have another EIGHT POINT EIGHT crisis on our hands! We've reached a point in the gaming industry where we simply need to ABANDON ALL HOPES OF INNOVATION, and instead focus on graphics! It's the year 2011 folks! The creativity well has OBVIOUSLY run dry, and since there's no hope of an original concept, we might as well just give up and rate everything on it's graphics. Shit, look at dwarf fortress! Look at NetHack! It's not like either of those could possibly have been incredible games! No, they didn't even HAVE graphics! Their interesting game mechanics and humorous writing are MEANINGLESS! Their helpful communities are WORTHLESS! It's 2011! GRAPHICS ARE EVERYTHING! Minecraft will get the BOTTOM of the four point scale!

...that turned into a rant way more quickly than I thought it would. As we all know, everything in that wall of text is entirely backwards. Well, except the parts about it being 2011, THAT'S true. Imagine that being said with the voice of everyone's caustic critic. Geez, I hope that wasn't too much for a first post...

Also, imagine it being said in a MUCH NICER WAY BECAUSE GETTING IN TROUBLE IS NOT VERY FUN.
