Oh come on guys, you've missed the second biggest thing that needs scrapping "The Sims" I little bit of me died inside when I walked into the local Game and saw that the top ten section's positions 2 through 6 were the sims 2 and it's expansion packs. I died even more inside when i saw one colourfully called "The Sims 2: Ikea". Alternatively I could just say scrap EA.
The highest priority for things to die, like many have previously said, reality TV shows and any previous 'celebrity' created in the process of previous shows. But alas as long as there are idiotic bints out there, reality TV will be forever more.

Might be alone on this one, and the sequel hasn't even come out yet (preemptive answer, I know) but Assassins creed need not be continued like I fear it will. I spent 2 hours on the 1st one and said no thank you. Also the res evil movies. They're stacking shit on top of shit with that mess.

People saying "Oh, they've announced a sequel before the next game is even released" is rubbish! FFXIV is not a sequel to FFXIII and everyone here knows it, it's exactly the same as any other game company announcing a forthcoming title before their next one is released, the only difference is how Squaresoft chooses to name their games!
Plus, I, for one (and I may be the only one...), really fucking love JRPGs. I know for sure they didn't get anywhere near as much flak before Zero Punctuation and it's just sad. I like ZP as much as the next guy but I've still got my own opinions, and those opinions include "JRPGs rule." Disagree? Fine. But the arguments you are providing against Final Fantasy as a "series" (which it barely is) fall flat, people.

On topic, what do I think should give up? Nintendo's franchises do seem like a likely candidate, but perhaps all they require is some pruning, rather than outright cancelling.

Tekken. I can't honestly remember ever liking playing this game. And I've played a few of them. I'm not sure why.
