I half agree with this, if I get asked something like that I don't mind, I kind of want people to notice when I've had my hair dyed.badgersprite said:I get annoyed when I get told the same thing over and over again. I mean, I can't expect people to read my mind, but I'm just not patient enough to have the same conversation more than once. One of the more annoying examples of this was:
Schoolmate: Did you dye your hair?
Me: Yes.
Different schoolmate: Your hair looks different.
Me: I dyed it.
Another schoolmate: Did you dye your hair?
Me: Weeks ago. Stop asking.
Tertiary schoolmate: Did you--?
Me: YES!
But when someone feels the need to repeat things to me over and over, even if it's over the space of a few weeks it still pisses me off.
Also different people making the same inane unimaginative comments/jokes on stuff, e.g. me going to uni, or something in the news - then expect me to agree/laugh as if it was totally original.
