how is negative time possible ?

If you count backwards and don't stop at zero, you reach a negative number. When a shuttle launch occurs for example, they measure the time before launch as a negative value (T -10 seconds for example). When the engines light and the shuttle launches, it keeps counting in the same direction.

But theoretically, if you don't take man made conceptions of time into account, there was no time before time, so negative time is impossible, in that way at least

Time is a counting system using arbitrated bit units of measure. None of this 'time before time' bullshit. It's a human concept we can build it however we please.

Maybe this was already debunked but it can't be anything to do with World War Z. Unless they changed a major aspect in the movies. Max Brooks zombies don't start off as "a cold". There is no flu like infection, it's just a zombie from the past finds someone, bits someone and it went from there.
Maybe when you get bitten you at first feel like you have the flu... but that can't be what they mean.

"The Flu" has an intubation period of 3 days, After those 3 days you are less likely to pass it on, and start recovering. So i'm guessing after 3 days, something might happen on the site.

But the website says it starts with the flu, according to the LFD wiki the zombie virus is a form of rabies so this can't have to do with left 4 dead!

In this case, the assertion is still valid as the counter now indicates how long ago a moment occurred. It does not imply a "time before time" but rather a "time after a[/a] time". Time is still marching forward, even if it is being displayed in a way that, on the surface, seems to indicate otherwise.

Ahh, young masters, but you are forgetting about how the survivors see it in L4D. Remember, in L4D and in L4D2, they all called the infection the *drum roll* GREEN FLU!!

So, maybe the Viral Ad was taking it from the perspective of just a normal civilian and not an Omniscient "Morgan Freeman in War of the Worlds" viewpoint.
