The way im thinking, i want my team to have a varied but obviously Stereotyped cast.

Deadpool to be the wise cracking assassin.

Do Einherjar count? I'd love to be able to take Arngrim or Lezard From The Valkyrie Profile series. Failing that,
The Emperor from FF2/Dissidia=Planning the mission, his traps would come in handy for base defense if needed.
Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4= The guy has taken out bio weapons several times more dangerous then a few nazis. Great marksmen and elite government agent.
The Medic from TF2= He is the ubermensch! Though I suppose, he might be on the other team though....
And Sylar from Heroes= Regeneration, telekinisis, Lightning, flight.....he could likely do it himself come to think of it.
