I see your point. I'd take:
First Loadout.

An Imperial City Guard Oblivion.
An Imperial Guardsman from Warhammer 40k, baneblade included.
The guy who does the voiceover in Fallout 3
A space marine.

Tactic: Cause the opponent to freeze in a dialouge screen while a voiceover keeps them entertained and distracted, as the baneblade and space marine kill them all.

Second Loadout.

A Chaos space marine.
A Daemon Prince
Techno Viking
A cardboard cutout of a cow.

Tactic: Strike fear in the hearts of the opposition.

Third Loadout.

Pvt. Patterson from medal of honor
Price, from CoD
The Soldier from Tf2
Manon From MoH underground

Tactic: Fire rockets and spew strange insults in several accents. Run around shooting anything wearing a fez.

Fourth Loadout.

Necron Warrior.
Necron Immortal.
Tomb Scarab.
Necron Lord.

Tactic: Destroy mankind.

I know some of them are not characters as such. But hey. It's for fun.
