I actually started crying with laughter when I read the second line - you may be a couple of years early (I think), but it doesn't matter; Thompson would probably draw a comparison between Tetris and the escalation of nuclear stockpiling in the 80s or consoles and Saddam's invasion of Kuwait as well.
