I live in New York, it's 13F right now. I went to college in this state as well but in a part of the state that tends be colder and get more snow. One of my friends was from the Bahamas, boy did she suffer. It was funny one time it was not quite spring yet but we had an usually warm day (around 60F if I recall correctly) and we were all walking around in shorts and t-shirts remarking about how nice it was to have such a warm day so early mean while she's got her jacket and scarf complaining about how cold it is.

I think our weather switched with yours. In Adelaide we've been having thunderstorms and one was the kinda thing you'd expect in Queensland not here.
Same in Victoria. Stormy down here.

OT: It's -12 right now. It's been nice the last few days. I like this kind of weather. I'm in Calgary, Canada, BTW.
So nothing has changed since yesterday, huh? I thought it was colder today.

Yeah, that one was fun. We got about 100 - 110mm between Tuesday and Wednesday last week in the Barossa, according to our rain gauge.

IT'S REALLY FREAKING HOT!!! I mean I've heard of Global warming but this is ridicolous! Then again, maybe it's just my house, but if I dare venture away from the fan, I am cruelly punished for my stupidity.

So, what I'm wondering, where are you right now, and what's the weather like?
How long have you lived here? this has been a really cool summer, its not even 40C yet, and plus the humidity isn't 90% so that's below average. More like global cooling.....

Isn't it funny how we live in the same country, OP?

I live in Melbourne, Australia, and IT'S REALLY BLOODY COLD. Probably less than 20 degrees out there, and it's been raining and all that. I'm wearing the same amount of clothing I'd wear on a mild day in winter. This has been a pretty cold summer so far. And wet. I'm not really complaining though; I prefer cooler weather.

I liked the part of today where it started pouring down half an hour before I had to catch a bus, and didn't stop until I missed my bus by under a minute.

Still Melbourne.

I was born in this great country of ours, and being Australian, I can handle the heat anyway, I was exaggerating a BIT, but it was still pretty hot.
