It's bad but does that make it not fun?

I am notorious at my home for enjoying bad games, like Divinity II, despite people's comments about the game being unplayable, broken or buggy, I still enjoy these bad games. Is there a game out there that you play, despite it's overwhelming faults?

Sonic 2006,my copy musta been hand made by Jesus, because I encountered no bugs or glitches yet everyone complained of them, but the story contradicted itself several times...but I ignored it and kept playing,I thought it was an okay game.

Some people say that games like Killer7 and Shadow of the Colossus are bad to play so I'm personally not going to let that stop me. I thought that both played very well.

Soldiers of fortune. Its such a crap game. But its so fun to blow little chunks out of peoples faces.
Soldier of Fortune was the mainstream shooter of its generation, it got people not interested in gaming actively upgrading so they could play it, all because of the GHOUL engine.

It wasn't the best to start off with since the single player is hard

KOTOR 2.

Those who played it know how hilariously buggy and unfinished it is.

Shame to, because if it had a bit more time and polish, it could have easily been better than KOTOR 1.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Best Jrpg and one of the best rpgs i have ever played. The fact that it was on the PS2 was impressive too as the graphics and scale of the game was awesome. just talking about it makes me want it again...to ebay

A lot of people hated Silent Hill: The Room but I loved it for its story, if that counts.

Oh, and Kung Fu Chaos for the Xbox. I don't care what critics say, that game was fun!

Not exactly the worst games around, but the best I can think of.

Earth Defense force was (from a technical perspective) an awful game but SOOO much fun I could play it for hours.

This was my answer.
If Lucas Arts hadn't fucked things up, KotOR 2 could have been, in my opinion, one of the best RPGs ever.

There are tons of things wrong with fallout 3, but it's still my favorite game of all time. No one should let a few bugs ruin their gaming experience.

It depends, the games could be so bad its good or slide right down the scale into its so bad its awful. So bad its good games are generally awesome.

Little question: how is this topic-relevant?

OT: This is the game that wins this thread:
Seriously, check it out. It's so incredibly broken (especially camera and fighting mechanics) and indescribably cheesy but so awesome to play at the same time. You know what else? The director (forgot his name, originator of Resident Evil) said the game turned out 100% the way he wanted it to! Unbelievable!

I don't feel that it's like films, where you can enjoy a terrible film when in the right mindset, because it's over in a while and doesn't require active participation. A terrible game could handle poorly and be riddled with bugs, and will also take quite a bit more time to finish than a film. So no, I don't think that you can enjoy a bad game.

cos it's understood that this game was only suitable for the bargain bin in supermarkets ... that's why

I loved MGS 2, but so many people thought it was horrible. I still had fun, especially with the last boss fight.

Who said that Shadow of the Colossus was bad? Those games were actually very good games unless being a little glitchy suddenly ruins the game for you. Personally I liked Fable II even though some people thought it was a waste of time or that it was only for -insert stereotypes here- to play.
