Sounds like the first part of a list of objectives. Maybe you play as Russians again, like in World at War.

One could hope. God forbid that Infinity Ward does something along the lines of a two sidhttp://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/edit/9.283805.11169207ed Campaign, playing as American and Russian troops to perhaps give something akin to a realistic portrayal of the murky realities of the conflict with a more in depth reasoning and examination other than 'That's the villian! Kill him! Russians in the White House! Kill them! Those guys look different! Kill them!"

Also, a correction, in the America one, he says "Destroy enemy hope of winning." It was a bit unclear. Don't listen to the ones on youtube, they're usually wrong.

OT: this game still interestes me because of the massive set pieces, but america, england and west germany? seems like they're spreading themselves thin...

I liked MW2's teaser trailer much better, had more finesse and that "oh shit, wtf is going on?" factor without resorting to generic combat chatter.

Let's just hope the gameplay doesn't look pathetically copied-and-pasted from previous installments.

I honestly stopped caring about the singleplayer in these games after MW2's campaign, which I felt was not nearly as good as Call of Duty 4's. I wouldn't buy a Call of Duty game solely for the single player ever, that's just silly.

98% of the people living there are assholes anyway? well your a troll and i do wonder as i write this whether there is anypoint goading you by responding... but no, 98% of the people there aren't assholes. your referring to the 80% who won't talk to you because they can't spare the time to talk to every passer by, the 15% who don't notice you, the 1% who have had a genuinly shitty day and the 1% who are actually asssholes.

besides, yes people are told to yell fire not rape, fire is a word that is socially burned into us at a young age, people respond to fire quicker than they respond to rape. secondly "fire!" is a word that everyone will run to. "rape!" or "help!" is a word that frightens people. your told to yell fire becuase everyone comes, and even if they don't help they get help. the other reason is that thinking im going to be raped has teh effect of scaring the woman further. thinking thorugh a check list helps her repsond better, im not bullshitting either by the way, that is a genuine thought that went into making the advice.

besides in the end your complaining about either the crime rate of the US or UK, wake up and trun on the news.

I'll probably end up buying it (despite the glitches, balance issues, lack of dedicated servers and overpowered kill streaks, the MP could be a hell of a lot of fun), but I'm hoping for the game to return to the simpler, less kill-streak focused gameplay of CoD4, my favorite of the whole series, with the original CoD for the PC in a close 2nd. Maybe less accurate guns, more focus on map control.

Also, I want to work my brand-new graphics card, so I want to see some damn nice graphics in this one.

I want the ability to walk through my teammates when friendly fire is turned off. Getting killed because some person blocked me whilst I was running through a doorway is not fun.

Oh, and I also want the Multiplayer to not be an unbalanced mess, but we all know that isn't going to happen.
