I've got a second generation 80GB Zune, so everything I own is on it. I still haven't taken up 8GB.
Most of the time it's because I enjoy it, but sometimes it's because it's just "one of those songs" that you need to have, like "Bohemian Rhapsody" (though I do like it) and sometimes it's also an inside joke, like Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" or Alizee's "J'en Ai Marre":
I pick particular songs that I enjoy, never in a particular genre. Sometimes from a video game, or a movie. Sometimes orchestral, other times 70s, 80s. Sometimes a very recent song. I'm very sporadic and particular about my ipod. I never put songs on that I don't think I'll listen to for very wrong and I often purge my ipod of songs I've been skipping over when the shuffle churns them up.
Well, I love fast paced songs personally. More so Rock. If I find an artist I like, I will get whatever songs I think are cool, and then shove em in the iPod.
