According to itunes I have listened to these songs significantly more than any others I have on it. By a margin of at least 60. I don't think I ever skip past them.

I have the same thing, I will find a song and fall in love with it, I will play it constantly over a week or 2 and then grow bored of it.

First time I remembering it happening was the very infamous "bodies"! Did you know that song was actually used to torture people?

Anyway, the latest song to get this treatment is a Rob Zombie track ... I mainly like it for the chorus.

Right now?

It's Spferic Wave, by Man or Astroman? it's this awesomely dark, scifi themed, surf rock jam, heavily influenced by hardcore punk and post rock, sounds, that has this great heavy and pounding rhythm, that's climaxed, by winding, sliding, trebley, lead guitar...

and before this, it was Chad Vangaalen's Burning Photographs... very new wave, with jangly guitars, and simple tight hooks, though it has this undertone of havoc, which permeates the whole song, most of the time as a slight fuzziness in the background, that is really noticeable in moments of silence, and breaks through to the forefront, during high action and is really exuberant in the vocals, which are this sort of restrained yelling...<.<

Oh yeah, I most definitely do this. When I first started watching that new show Vikings, I looked up the intro song. It became stuck in my head for the following several days and would be on repeat on YouTube when I'd finally get home from work.

KMFDM - "Ultra"
Muse - "Supermassive Black Hole"
Any of the tracks from Build Mode of The Sims 1. I've always loved that music and the calming effect it has. Sometimes, I would throw The Sims on and go into Build Mode just to hear the music. ^_^;

This tends to happen to me whenever a new Miracle Of Sound songs comes out. And it looks like that trend will continue with his latest song too, which might well be his best so far, in my opinion

[video=7155]

Luckily, I don't ever seem to get "worn out" on them, but instead just gradually start listening to more music alongside it again (until the next song comes out =P)

I'm a bit old-fashioned in this way. I have Look Pimpin' from Madworld playing on Youtube and minimise Photoshop, manually click replay and go back to what I was doing every 2:39. Is there a way to loop it without-

Huh. Turns out all I had to do was Google "youtube loop". Welcome to the 21st Century.

Oh yeah, I totally do it. Frequently. I'll find a song that really, really gets me. And I want to hear it all the time. And it can be from any genre.

Recently, it's Taylor Swift's "22." Before that was one of the themes to Eureka Seven.

I could listen to this forever. I remember the first time I did. My brother and me played the game Co-op first time, I thought it was certainly different, less cheesy, but still Timesplitters. Powerful, too.

This one's great, too. Borderlands 1 had a small, but fantastic soundtrack.

I'm currently listening to Daft Punk's "Human After All" on repeat (single, not album) pretty much any time I get into my car.

I usually just lurk but that song was too good not to thank you for. Thanks for posting.

I try not to listen to songs on repeat, tends to mean I never end up listening to anything else on the album, the closest I've come to is probably this:

I've been listening to the Evangelion opening a lot. Considering I've only seen, oh... one episode of the show, I really like this fucking song.
Seriously it's damn catchy. Or something.

Also I can now justify listening to trashy modern pop with my recent Dota semi-addiction
DON'T JUDGE ME

And for something a bit less... subconsciously awful:
Love it.

I also have to thank you, an great song and a brilliant video! This is why I love the Internet; the little jewels you can find.

Also, I probably did the most obsessive listening on this track: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=leQO6SSPA7E&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DleQO6SSPA7E
It's the music from the Mass Effect 3 retaliation dlc trailer. Really cool.

I remember a particulary strange Monopoly night where I started a certain self-repeating flash animation as we set up the board. It then continued to loop for the entire night. Literally. We played from dusk till dawn with that animation as soundtrack.
By the end I discovered that the animations video and audio part were not perfectly synced up, as it accumulated an offset of several seconds...

And now...[footnote]single run YT version for sanity reasons[/footnote]

Having resisted the urge to buy it on DVD due to worse than usual reviews, which I now regret, I've finally watched Resident Evil Retribution. Now playing on repeat:
It was actually a rather enjoyable movie contrary to many opinions.

I do this all the time to sort of cool down from an obsessive episode. The last song I've had on loop was the
song that plays during the credits of a game called Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. The song's called "Venus Megamix". I got my first platinum trophy from that game, and watching the credits again once it was over was IMMENSELY satisfying. Afterwards, I put the credits song on loop for a while just to calm down a bit.
