In honour of Pancake day, Pope Benedict XVI has stepped down from the papacy for one full day, his replacement: That Bunneh Wit A Pamcake On He Head IX.

Carrot, we pray for your protection and guidance over our Holy Father, Pope Bunneh IX. Give him strength and wisdom to stand as a prophet for our times. May he be a light in darkness around which we gather in hope. We ask you to bring about reconciliation through his faithful teaching of peace and justice. Grant him compassion and care to live the gospel in love and service to all people. Let him follow in the path of Peter Rabbit and Paul the Human who, filled with the Holy Bunneh, preached that the Carrot saves all who call upon his name.

Are we talking about proper pancakes or are we talking about those horrible cake things that Americans eat?

I have no idea what you're talking about. So here's a bunny with a pa- Oh...you're good.

meh american pancakes are more like drop scones

but proper english pancakes are king

but one quick question- what do you make yours with?
Had in interesting discussion with some mates- mine are just flour, egg and milk but apparently this makes them a form of omelette.

According to the pancake that the bunny has on its head it is the horrible one...sadly but lets pretend we do not know that.

Savoury basil and black pepper pancakes with tuna fish, roasted onions/peppers/tomatoes and mature cheddar cheese.

Yes I read the first post, but they were just so fucking delicious I had to share.

You mean flapjacks? Come now. They have no culinary value but they sure make a nice, sweet breakfast alternative to Corn Flakes...

Discussion value please?
Today is Pancake Day. Are you celebrating by eating at least one meal involving or featuring pancakes, flapjacks, crepes or waffles? If so, how are you going about it?

This morning I finished off my pancake mix and inaugurated a jar of Nutella.
Today is good.

Alright, I can sink my teeth into that. I had pancakes, at least European style pancakes, so they might technically be crepes but I don't care, they're delicious. I had them with jam and also in a sort of soup that's really quite good once you get past the bizarreness of the concept.

This explains how I ended up having pancakes for both breakfast and lunch today.

If you can call what I had for lunch pancakes...
