my thoughts ran:

- Hmm do staff get snow days off? No
- Oh well walk to the bus station (20min through like 9in of snow)
- Oh buses are cancelled (10 more minutes to train station for alternative route)
- Oh trains are cancelled
- Bugger this for a game of soldiers
- Phone call to boss (can't come in)
- Small snowball fight on the way home with troublesome youths
- Bed

I am so excited about the snow, all modes of transport that may have gotten me to work today were DISSABLED! So I have spent most of my morning building a 10ft snow John Travolta - saturday night fever stylee.
Now I'm drinking coco, sitting on my couch in a big jumper and deciding which of the die hard quadriology to watch.

Snow is either a myth or a boring every day occurance for you but here in London it is a miracle.

I have seen people smiling, talked to complete strangers, had a snow man competition with a group of kids and wished I bought a sled at some point so I could slide down a hill.

I think snow genuinely puts joy back into peoples lives!

I live in Norway, and in some part of the country we have snow all year round..
Also, moose runs freely in the city streets here..
In Canada, there is a special ops team, named Moose Riders. They catch criminals and also have their own Saturday morning cartoon.
Does Norway have anything similar?

EDIT: Also I live in Florida. We only have two settings: Too damn hot and oh fuck my eyes are melting help please help.
Haha.. Nope, we got nothing like that.. I finally saw an oppurtunity to use the phrase "Blame Canada", but couldn't not think of anything funny.. DAMNIT!
Be careful, lest you call down the wrath of the Moose Riders.
Yes, i should be more careful, with a name like that, god knows what they are capable of..
Out of curiousity, whats with the name Moose riders? Hope its not what i think it is..Dirty dirty mind.. :p

When I wake up and find lots of snow outside I say "Fuck... Now I have to go shovel while my dad gets to use the snow blower."

People who don't get snow aren't missing much, since it sucks. It gets annoying up here in Massachusetts when you have to shovel almost daily.

For anyone whos interested the snow has pretty much managed to stop central london entirely, buses were all down this morning, afew tubes were down and general panic, anarchy and looting began.

A lesson if you ever want to defeat britian in a war, just wait for 2 inchs of snow and the country will be at a stand still.

"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Duluth."
--Mark Twain

Living most of my life in Duluth, MN I can honestly say that my first thought is, and almost always has been, "Fuck. Snow."

I look at snow in the morning with mixed emotions
first its ohh maybe i dont have to go to college
then yeh im gonna go on my xbox
then its 'yeh...they wont close college, they never do'
then im sad
then i look at the snow again and think hey it looks so neat
then im cold
then i say dam my feet are wet, i hate snow
then it gets all slushy and looks really bad
then i say snow sucks
so yeh thats pretty much what i do when i look at snow.

No snowday for me today. But apparently if there's enough over night, then my school gets one tomorrow. So everyone I beg you!, pray to your respective religious leaders/scientific theories/nothingness.

Im in South East England and snow has blanketed everything and it's still snowing now!

I'm about to go out and enjoy the weather while it lasts.
This is such a rarity we all just go nuts at the slightest sign of the white stuff!
Yeah definitely,

most of the shops are closed where I am but quite a few people in the parks.

Walking back home I saw some giant snowballs that kids had blockaded the road with lol.

Reminds me of a contemporary poem.

I ride a motorbike into work every day, wind, rain even snow.

My first thought when i see snow is something along the lines of "oh shit, i'm gonna die today..."
